The Joker and courts are early contenders for a few awards.

Lovin' the artwork even more. Still not lovin' the fonts. This time, the Q's are also just as problematic as the earlier J's. (The earlier Q seemed okay, but not so much on these last couple.) Please reconsider the fonts? Pretty please?

Thanks!

PS: I should note that part of what I love about this is the two-sides of the courts. This is a neat trick when it's pulled off well, and the list of decks that have done it well is rather short. This artwork *absolutely* makes the list. Love it.

And that Jack of Diamonds is tasty!

Just sayin'.

I very much agree. The art is gorgeous. The pips do not fit with the art style though.
I've spent way more than I care to admit on playing cards, but I'll still buy just about anything that Lorenzo, Jackson, or Gio make.

Put me down as "Love the art, do not like the design" category. Normally I'm all for custom pips, but the artwork is SO intricate that I feel like the supporting design should be much simpler. As it stands, every card just seems so BUSY to me.

That's what I find turns me away from a lot of the Chinese decks. They're just way too busy. This one still has a lot of potential to strike that balance and I'm liking it mostly so far.

I also share the sentiments mentioned earlier that the font makes Joker so hard to read.

Yup - there is a line - the latest Kingstar monkey king deck hit me like that - really wanted to like them but just so much going on I could barely make them out - (woman’s deck much less busy)

These really work for me though, certainly not too busy - but the KQJ font…

Noted on the Index Font. We are looking at less busy/ornate alternatives.

New cleaner index font was a good call in my opinion. I actually had already had that feeling, but hearing others echo it was the catalyst to make it a reality. The artwork is exciting enough on its own.

Call me crazy, but I actually liked the ornate indices better. They were a little harder to read, but with a little tweaking that could have been fixed.

Yeah, something in between what we had originally and what we have now would be ideal. If it was between both though, the revision is much more preferred as it's actually legible.

Fenrir: Glad to see you back!

Adamthinks: You're crazy.

Kevork: I agree that the new version of the indices could be a tiny bit more ornate and still hit all the points, but like you say, I definitely prefer the new version to the old.

TGW: I'm so glad you continue to participate in the conversation here, and I'm glad you consider our feedback (even when you choose to go in a different direction). This deck is getting awesomer and awesomer.

For what it's worth, I have no notes and I will be buying this deck if it still looks like either of the versions presented so far :)

Tuck getting finalized. The purple grey will be either UV or black foil.

I have to say, this was not what I was expecting when I saw the cards. It’s very cool but it doesn’t feel cohesive with the cards. Maybe because it is missing the duality?

Omar, what’s the thought behind this to the cards. I’m no expert but I’m always interested to hear insights into the design from you.

Remember this is a render. They often have a very different feeling when they are foil embossed on card stock.

The Corrupted is a deck that explores duality indeed. But focusing on what the corrupted perspective of any given subject looks like. In this case the court cards reveal a uncorrupted and corrupted side. I think the cohesion will be more evident once you've had a chance to really delve into the artwork of the deck and see the commonalities and repeating motiffs!

You are very right that the final product will be very different.

I really appreciate the insight. I’m excited to see more and delve into the details then. This is a deck that is very high on my want list and I’ll be excited to see more. Hoping it has some foil or other cool luxury touches.

I like the transition from the tuck to the deck. The tuck should make you want to open up the box to see what's hidden inside.

For me personally, the back and faces should make it worth the effort of buying the deck and opening it; vs , oh, the many T11 decks where the excitement and wow factor generated from the tuck didn't match what we saw from the monochrome back and courts.

However I get what Fenrir is saying as the tuck render right as it is, doesn't quite have the cool wow-I-must-get-it factor that matches the really cool back and faces. But will wait to see how that goes. TGW has not failed in wowing us yet.

On another note, I was thinking if there could be 1 tuck showing the uncorrupted side to go along with Corrupted tuck. That would really make a great pair when put together.

Just throwing out insane ideas but how cool would it be to see an ombré sort of effect from light to dark. Would make an amazing tuck.
