Nah, considering the lead time they need to produce decks, I believe it's more to riding on the BP2's recent release. It'll still be on people's mind.

They're just pumping these superhero decks out now! I hope they do a Superman deck, focusing on the most recent Zack Snyder movie series.

Re: Black Panther Playing Cards by Theory11
Anyone releasing a relevant Black Panther product wouldn't have had any of Shuri's costume assets until Oct 3 (same day the trailer dropped). I'd say that's a pretty tight turnaround during the holiday season to turn around a deck by Nov. 11 considering everything that would have to go off without a hitch (final illustrations, Marvel approvals, proofing, printing, finishing, and shipping).laitostarr777 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 5:21 am XD Black Panther 2 was like, two months ago. Agreed. Wakanda Forever is being released on Disney+ Feb. 1, 2023.

The World of Black Panther
Another celebrated hero in the Marvel universe is Black Panther, a superhero who dressed in a nice black cat suit that resembles a panther. He heralds from the country of Wakanda, the most advanced civilization in the world, because of its resource from outer space: a meteorite made by the strongest metal on earth called Vibranium.
The Nation of Wakanda
Wakanda is a nation located somewhere in Africa. While it poses as a third-world country, it’s actually a very advanced and highly technological civilization in the world. The advanced life in Wakanda is thanked to the meteorite that falls on the grounds of the nation millions years ago. The meteorite contains “vibranium”, the strongest metal on earth with powerful properties (which the same metal is used to craft Captain America's circular shield). In ancient times, five tribes of people settled on that meteor’s ground zero and called it “Wakanda”. The tribes were at constant war until a warrior shaman rises to become the first king of the nation and uniting the tribes. Only four tribes [Border; Merchant; River; Mining] came together, because one of the tribe [Jabari], decide to lived on their own in the mountains. As the nation stands, some of the Wakandans decided to lived outside, who later undergo the world’s history of black people oppression (slavery, skin discrimination, etc.). Wakanda swore to protect the resource they have from misuse of other nations.
Black Panther
The Black Panther is an important figure to the nation of Wakanda. He is a protector and a king. The first Black Panther is the warrior shaman who united the tribes in long years ago - when he received a vision from the panther goddess Bast that leads him to the heart-shaped herb: a purple plant imbued with the magical properties of vibranium. The herb gives him super strength, super speed, and high instinct - giving the consumer the traits similar to a panther. The herb also helps in connecting with the dead spirits, talking with them in the afterlife. Black Panther dons a black skin-tight suit with a cat helmet, both decorated with silver metallic details. The fabric and its claw weapons, of course, are made with vibranium. The updated design is made with nanotech, which nestles within the teeth necklace that is activated when needed, envelops the user and form the armor around.
MCU Movies
There are two movies integrated in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Both movies are directed by Ryan Coogler under the direction of producer Kevin Feige. Black Panther is Marvel’s answer to African superhero, created by the legend Stan Lee.
Characters and Props
The deck is based on the two movies of Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The number cards featured customized pips with Wakanda markings. One of the courts is borrowed from the Avengers deck.
