They are nice although I would like to see more unique and different style. These courts are too much like some of his other series

I agree, which was why I loved his Order series. Harkened back to his early Omnia art style. Would be nice if he revisited his Evil & Good deck art style again as well.

Once upon a time in history, King Dionysius II of Syracuse sits on the throne, keeps on frowning and grumbling. His best friend, Damocles keeps on lamenting on why the king is trouble when he should be grateful. Getting tired of his ramblings, the king made a deal to Damocles - he can take his position for a full day. Damocles happily accepts, approaching the throne and proudly wear the golden crown. BUT, there is a sword hanging up high, only supported by a strand of horse hair tied to its pommel. Even with all the lavish parties: delicious food and beautiful ladies, all what Damocles worried about is if the sword falls on him. With one day went by, Damocles quickly gets off from the throne and pleads to the king that he doesn't want to be king anymore. The king told him: "With great power, comes great responsibilities".

Hello TWI Family, we have a date - Damokles will be launched on 17 January 2023

There will be a lot of early birds and the hour won't be announced, so I suggest to subscribe the prelaunch page to receive a notification when I’ll press “Launch”.

Damokles will have a total of 4 decks, all printed by USPCC with a lot of metallic inks. Adamas and Cuprum are the unlimited decks of the series, Opulentia and Ruinae are the Kickstarter exclusive limited ones, with an experimental feature that will be very… precious.

I'm bowing out on this one. I don't love the design. The velvet tucks are intriguing, but I'd only want one, not both.

Ye I wanted only one of them, but I rather sell 1 than buy one at ebay prices down the road
Looking to buy (DM me if selling please!):
-Limbo v1 decks
-2017 NPCCD Bronze, Silver, Emerald

damn, i love Gio's work! however, i think i will not be getting a full set this time again. $50 extra for the 2 velvet tuckboxes and presumably the same cards is not worth it to me at all so Adamas and Cuprum are the 2 i am getting. the more decks i get in my collection the less i can justify tuck swaps and color swaps. i miss having reason to buy the square and trio tiers when all decks had different courts and the special deck for the set was ''mature''. free the nips!

Too bad the KS exclusives Velvet tuckbox ones are not gilded, or at least the artwork changes in some way
although if we know Gio, there MIGHT be a surprise edition after KS funding

Really impressed with what Gio has done with shipping charges here. I'm currently cutting way back on card purchases so not a backer but it's great to see.

A few years ago I stopped buy cards from Thirdway Industries. Sorry but in my opinion I'm bored with the style. It's the same thing for every new deck design released.

It is Gio's style but I tend to agree. I have 94 unique Thirdway decks and I will probably still be in for designs that are different from this like "Galaxia" or "Tales" but the current line art style I've probably had enough of for now. He is going great and creative stuff though and full credit to him to also to be quite prolific.

If anyone decides to drop their Opulentia & Ruinae tier, can you let me know? I decided I want to get the velvet decks. I'm curious how Gio's attempt at such a feat is, as I'm only aware of ICONS Imperial and Imperial Reverse that have attempted something like this before.

If you don't get anybody's dropped tier, I'd be happy to sell you a set at cost.

I opened the Damokles preorder shop - if you want more Damokles items, I advise to preorder them there instead waiting for the retail release. Price (and shipping) is much lower, and if you live in EU, the rewards will be shipped from Germany.

KS update wrote:Opulentia/Ruinae are almost ready - as far as I know they are assembled and should be cellowrapped this week. ... The huge "shipping excel" is ready and I'll send it to GW during this week (I prefer send it when all the items are completed and they're ready to ship). If there are no issues, shipping should start in mid June ... Adamas/Cuprum will be released for retail after the Kickstarter shipping. I'm also planning to wholesale these a few weeks after the KS shipping, so you may see these on other shops as well (probably in July/August, let's see.)

KS wrote:Quick update - everything has been completed, we're ready to ship. The shipping process should start next week --- but the orders are many, so I'm expecting it might take some days to be completed. GW & Deallez should ship everything in June as promised, you should get the tracking automatically during the next 2 weeks via email.

Just got my Damokles order. I've heard many stories of bad registration with USPCC decks, but this is my first experience with it. This deck is all over the place.

A few examples:
