Loops Cuts? Valid site?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site, here after I received an invite from one of the moderators (Jason I think). I'm running a kickstarter campaign for a deck of Steampunk Cthulhu playing cards ( http://kck.st/Ym7DxZ ).

Anyway, a guy named Robert Butler who runs Loop Cuts is offering to help me market, and says he knows all of the ins and outs of the business. I'm just guessing that if that's accurate some of you have heard of him? I tried to look at the site ranking for loopcuts but it didn't even show up.

I'm new to this industry, being primarily an artist and illustrator in from the video game industry, so I'm just looking for some confirmation here.

It's better to be safe than sorry. Stay away from Robert.. and Loopcuts

Hey, he made me the same offer... sounded legit until I started looking up his name? So as far as I can tell he ONLY had the ECO CLIPS project, no others? He wasn't tied to any card decks? He openly scammed people and posted under a sock puppet name? Lame

i started a new thread earlier today for the Loop Cuts KS deck. It got a couple of responses, then vanished into thin air.

I just found the project on ks and of course came here to see what had been posted about it and saw there wasn't a thread. Luckily I ran a search and found this before posting a new thread again lol. I wonder if it wouldn't be better to post a page like all the other projects with a huge warning just so anyone else who might not run a search will see it?

Ok, just read the other thread and the convo where he pretended to be someone else, geez....I kinda like the LoopCuts cards, but I don't think I can pledge when there is so much evidence the guy is a liar.

yea. it's one of those things where you hope someone can change - and be a better person and finally give back to a community that has given so much to you - this will be his chance to redeem himself I guess. Here's hoping
