WAY too much blank space on the courts. And text is also a no-no, I would rather have an add card that stated the identity of the characters depicted. I'm hoping the front of the box isn't the AoS, as that would mean that character would be repeated twice (thrice with the box) in the deck. A close up of the back would be nice.

I agree with a lot of Mr. Fingerz assessment.

I really hope they take some advice and tweak this a bit, because I think the artwork is really well done.
I definitely would like to see the space filled bait better (layout)
And I think this theme needs amore interesting box
Maybe a Dante hell scape or something a little more austere. The box doesn't fit the theme IMO right now.

Too much art.
Not enough design.

Yea...kinda encapsulated my thoughts. Another great theme deck that needs a little more execution

On the fence, great art - poor execution.

I read that damn book three times. I hate allegory. If I can see the backs a bit better I might go for it. More I like about this than don't like

I'd be all over this deck if he'd remove the "names" from each card and expand the graphic to fill more of the negative space. Perhaps "break the box" more with each character..ie

Minotaur arm should break the box
Minos snake should break the box

this artwork is great! And I think it would make a great deck

Image

I even like the back design, except for naming the rings and the numbers

Image

I know WHY he did it, but it will exclude every card collector who doesn't have english as a first language (the book wasn't even written in english ha ha)

And as a Magician, it scares me to have a deck with visible "hidden numbers" on the back. I'd never want someone to think this was a marking system, even though it isn't. I think the letters and numbers on the back detract from the beauty.

totally my opinion.

I really like this deck just the way it is.

I LOVE this art! Seems much more interesting than a lot of the other "DARK" decks out there that just throw a bunch of blood and guts (and skulls) at you!

I don't mind the names on the cards. I've never read the book, so the names give me a bit more of a clue as to what i am looking at, and maybe even some incentive to read the darn thing. ;)
Everybody's darling deck, the Federal 52, has text on the cards!
And I really like the backs too. They are different from the norm, and that's OK with me. I like seeing something unusual, while it seems like a lot of you want every deck to follow the same "rules". Being a simple collector and not a performer, i guess i am just more open to different approaches to card creation.

I'm sure some of your design-oriented suggestions will probably improve the cards, or add to their overall impact (thinner borders, anyone?), but i'm already on board. :D

Looks like the decks will ship soon. Forgot I even pledged for this

We received an email from USPCC today that the Inferno Decks have shipped. We are anticipating receiving them by Monday or Tuesday, and we still hope to have orders shipped in time for Halloween.

Please complete your backer surveys as soon as possible!

I keep a spreadsheet of KS's I've pledged. I still forgot about this one. Nice news today though.

Exactly. It looks like there are quite a number of Hedge backers who appear to be getting swindled by this guy.

Empty promises for months, then no response to emails, PMs, or posted comments / questions about what's going on.

Good luck to anyone who backed Inferno. Hope you fare better than we did...

Well, the creator did it again. He stopped answering questions on shipment since 24th October. But he got time to bash the backers of his previous campaigns. Well, I hope you guys will receive all your stuffs, but I have given up all hope of ever receiving mine. Good luck!

Mine arrived yesterday. As a matter of fact, I received 3 different KS campaign decks yesterday, plus a Red Monarch order. My mailbox was full of cards! :-)

Someone was asking me about these recently... Was looking on ebay and not an inferno deck to be found. Plus it looks like his company website has disappeared. I hope he did not screw any people out of their decks

according to the comment section of this project AND the Hedge deck - they have. Both projects collapsed before everyone got their merchandise.

Still waiting on mine. I think I hurt my chances when I went to his twitter and sent tweets to everyone he had tweeted about the project, mainly news and media outlets, and told him he was a scammer. That was the only time he actually responded to my messages. Oh well, I probably wasn't going to see anything anyway.
