They already commented with a bit of a glib response ( "Maybe. Or not"). I'm not a fan of the royals, but I seriously doubt he is either. Still, this project feels kind of icky. Though I'm sure he's not the only person trying to profit off her death.

That comment was in regard to it being “too soon” - and although it may have come across as glib I think it was simply trying to be non-confrontational and saying that it was “an opinion”

In the end I do understand where you are coming from, but do not want this to devolve into attacking someone over a judgement of motives that we will never discern.

I understand, I never wanted to attack anyone. However, not a single line on the campaign is original text when it comes to the subject. Everything was copied from other websites (poorly in one case) and there is nothing on the campaign saying why they're doing this or what this means to them. I didn't flat out accuse them of a cash grab since I did ask if they actually cared about the Queen. I understand their connection when it came to the Ghosts of Kyiv deck they recently produced; I was just hoping to understand what this particular project meant to them. I could've phrased it better, sure, but their previous response to the 'too soon' comment also played into my directness.

Too poor of a design as well. I really dislike decks that are doing the dark "muddled" colour schemes.

A commemorative deck is a tough sell for me - perhaps if it were made by one of those companies closely tied to producing things for the royals and looked smashing, or if it really told the story of her life.

As a tribute deck, this doesn't do it for me. The court cards look like they belong with a completely different project as there is no connection in art style compared to the card backs. Also, the joker is just a Photoshop posterized image of the queen.

This project feels rushed (it did launch only 10 days after her death) and patched together. I would love to see more thought put into the design aspects as there are some good details here and there. Obviously, 3rd Dominion can deliver on a project and have found great success. Queen of the World feels unpolished, rushed and, quite frankly, not up to the standard of their previous campaigns. While it helps to be the first in this competitive community, it doesn't translate to being worthy of collectors' dollars if shortcuts are taken.

A pity this got cancelled; the design was very well executed. You could see the inbred tribe theme from afar.
While the Commonwealth is rather huge, Queen of the World feels more exaggorated than my posts in here though... and I like me some good exaggoration or hyperbole.

Though I wasn't interested in this deck, I think QUEEN TO THE WORLD might have been more appropriate title...ymmv
