Not sure where to report this. I recently posted the following additional version of a deck:
https://www.portfolio52.com/deck/20702/view
This is 2nd Edition of the Dave Mathis deck in the Silver and Gold version. The rejection points to
https://www.portfolio52.com/deck/1499/view
As the deck of duplication. However, this deck is both 1st Edition and is the “black/gold” variation that someone called “Blackout”
The distinction between the first editions and the second editions appears to be that the second editions have a “No 2” imprinted on the mechanical metal case card and that the center of the mechanism has a circular riser with four screws of offset color (except for the silver/silver), which differs from the 1st editions. Additionally, it appears from the other listings on portfolio52 that there were different edition sizes (searching portfolio52 for decks by “Mathis”):
Deck 1499: which is 1st Edition of black/gold version and called “3D METAL AND MECHANIZED BLACK OUT” (https://www.portfolio52.com/deck/1499/view) appears to be #/2500
Deck 981: which is 1st Edition of silver/gold version and called “3D METAL AND MECHANIZED SILVER/GOLD” (https://www.portfolio52.com/deck/981/view) appears to be #/2500
Deck 1628: which is 1st Edition of silver/silver version and called “3D METAL AND MECHANIZED SILVER/SILVER (https://www.portfolio52.com/deck/1628/view) appears to be #/2500
Deck 4045: which is 2nd Edition of black/gold version and called “DALE MATHIS MECHANICAL PLAYING CARDS V2 BLACK/GOLD (https://www.portfolio52.com/deck/4045/view) appears to be not known to the poster
I have in my possession a 2nd Edition of the silver/gold version for which I based my added deck posting. It has a certificate of authenticity stating it is edition ###/1173.
You can find pictures and descriptions of the various versions of the 2nd Edition decks here:
https://dalemathis.com/shop/
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/da ... ng%20cards
I have searched portfolio52 for “mathis”, “metal”, and “mechanized” and cannot find 2nd Edition silver/gold version. In fact, the only 2nd edition I can find is the black/gold version listed above.
How can we fix this rejection of the new deck post?
Thanks,
Not a Duplicate Deck

Re: Not a Duplicate Deck
It is true that the cited link goes to a 2nd Edition, but to the Black/Gold version of the deck. The rejected addition that I made was for the silver/gold version. There were three different versions of decks.
