A professional China printing factory will print this set of playing cards. They have extensive experience in printing playing cards.

And a fulfillment company in China will help for the fulfillment process.

I like the look - very much in line with the Bastet the Cat aesthetic.

The reason I hesitate is due to the lack of printer detail, prototype development, and heart/diamond suits. I have no problem backing a first time creator but there is too much missing at the moment for me to rely on renders only. I sent a message to the creator for some info, so I hope to learn more soon.

Yeah, I'm with you, Bacon. There's a lot to like at first glance about the design and the use of gold foil on black, but then you notice that all you see are spades and clubs over and over again and not a single red card... and saying that the decks will be printed by a printer in China with lots of experience and, oh, they'll be shipped out by a company in China, too, is just... weirdly, overtly non-specific. It's PARTICULARLY non-specific. .

This isn't likely to encourage me to open my wallet at this point, but kudos to whomever designed what we see so far.

Do they have some similarity with the Sacrifice cards?

I think the printer might be MPC. The foil pips is very reminiscent of the Maze War Chpt 1 - Customizable Puzzle Playing Cards by QP Market Network.

This wouldn't turn me away from the campaign, as I have some great cards from MPC. but the K-Q-J court cards are too similar to each other for my liking.

I did hear back from Chung and he has since updated the campaign. He lists WJ as the printer, who I have to assume is WJPC (I have used them in the past). He will be selecting the fulfillment company when things are ready to ship which opens the door for the "oops, I didn't plan for shipping to be so expensive" excuse and possibly asking backers for more funds or guaranteeing the fulfillment will be the least expensive option possible.

Finally, it looks as if the entire deck will be the black/gold foil combo as he updated the campaign to show at least two cards from the heart and diamond suits.

Full bleed black with gold is intriguing but while not bad, the overall design isn't for me.
