Emerald Kingdom playing cards on Kickstarter

Emerald Kingdom is a heroic fantasy deck of playing cards inspired by the worlds of high fantasy fiction like Lord of the Rings.

The Tuck Case
Emerald Kingdom Standard Edition comes in an earthy green tuck case with parchment paper texture added in the design to give an old story feel. The design depicts a two-way design of the Great Emerald Tree that is said to hold magic deep in it's roots.

The Cards
The cards will be printed by USPCC on Bicycle grade card stock. Each suit represents a different race in the Emerald Kingdom and has custom pips and court cards. The back depicts the same imagery as the tuck case. Each deck comes with 56 cards: 52 standard cards with custom pips and courts, 2 Jokers, and two ad cards.

I have SO MANY fantasy decks now. I really dig the back design and the characters have this Rankin/Bass vibe that I almost like. Plus cool pips. I am right on the fence.

I wonder why they decided on a 7 day campaign. I don't think it'll hit it's goal in that little time.

I agree, I also doubt they will hit their goal.

Great design, cool characters, I'm in. But yeah, won't hit the mark with the size of the goal relative to the time frame.

A nice offer but I'll pass. When it comes to fantasy I prefer Wicked Kingdom or Luminosity.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

Initially their Kickstarter page didn't even have any pictures of the number cards or Aces.

Fortunately they've now rectified that, so that at least we can see what the entire deck looks like.
