sorry but mods have said you're no longer allowed to discuss prism decks so please delete your comment. it's on the list of banned topics now thank you for your cooperation
This is not only pure comedy gold, but also an excellent point.

From now on, mods are no longer allowed to talk about how people should no longer talk about Prism display decks.

Unless they really want to.

However, the ban on talking about Bruno is still in effect. Thank you for your constipation.

Rousselle, this is your final warning - banning bans has been banned by the committee for free discourse. We are in the process of adding a banner to the site to inform people of the ban on bans unless such bans fall within the purview of the oversight committee which oversees the committee for free discourse.

Rubber bands are of course still permitted.

Ray-Bans are still being debated.

I'm planning a KS exclusive deck available to all backers during the campaign. It will not be available after. I'm calling it the Legacy edition.

It is a version of the Imperial Black with Black Edge Printing (like the black and white butterfly from ondrej), a gold tuck case and a new unique tuck sleeve. Note images below are just vectors and like the actual tucks when I originally showed them will be much better when printed. Price is looking like $31. I'm inquiring about a special carat case just for this edition (since the sarcophagus is a 6 deck set) that will feature Successor branding. +

Now I'll have a sarcophagus that doesn't hold my complete Successor collection...
A rich black piano laquer box set and a clear plastic case next to it.
One the other hand I could simply throw away one of the subsidising standard decks to have all back in the 6 deck box.

Adjusting the box isn't out of the question. It's about rearranging the interior slots. But It assumes that all the sarcophagus owners will want the new deck. Which I can't do. So it's a catch 22. What's worse to get 7 slots for only 6 decks?

This KS exclusive idea is born out of a need to mitigate some of the cancellations and stagnation that has happened with the campaign. We can anticipate that there will be a good percentage of backers whose pledges will be dropped. KS/Stripe/Backerkit are slated to take about $31k as it stands right now.

The highest tier has 6 decks and any stretch goals. That means the mini deck, the coin, the metal card. All included IF the stretch goals are met. This is a new offering.

While I am not backing at the highest tier myself, I nonetheless think that's a very classy move to give your biggest supporters that little bit extra.

(oh don't forget the neon edition and the UV edition.. )

I would rather have you addressing the outrageous overpriced shipping than adding new editions on an already overcrowded campaign. But guess that is asking a bit too much, not only rest of the world is paying overpriced shipping we are also paying for the "free" US shipping, double win!!

I have a challenge for you TGW: Are you interested in keeping the box I'm pledging for, for yourself? I'm sure you'll find someone that wants it, but I can't find anyone... Let me know if that interests you.

I am not a fan of many things Omar does but i can't relate to the need to attack the creator, for me it's very simple: i want something, i say it, if the creator do it for me then cool i am happy, if not then cool i will consider if i keep my pledge or not. No need for hate here.
I mostly collect Stockholm17 and always looking for any S17 New/Opened decks/ accessories: Brick Boxes, prints, coins, Pins, ect... If you have some weird small thing and want to trade/sell please let me know! If you are also a fan and have free time to chat, feel free to send me a PM!

Yeah I don't think the aggressive tone some people are taking on here is needed at all. Not sure when that became acceptable for people.

I'm not happy with the shipping either. I stated my position once, it was acknowledged but not addressed (the $6 per deck for addon decks). Shipping is a nightmare right now and I certainly wouldn't want to be starting a campagin right now with all the uncertainties around the world situation in this area.

Be civil or be silent.

Yeah, some of the passive-aggressive comments in this thread are a bit much. Reviewing feedback is part of the creator gig, but I feel for TGW during instances of lesser constructive feedback.

I’m really liking the looks of the Legacy edition! I will definitely be in for a pair. I hope this does help revitalize your campaign, I’m really hoping we hit 350%.

Yep, I am definitely getting one or two of the Legacy decks. I was busy writing a long response on the shipping issue, but that subject has been discussed enough. I will focus on a nice additional offering that does interest me. At this rate, I may need to just pick up a top tier that drops and be done with it. I am already in for just under $300 without the Legacy deck.

Okay, I will just mention that if you think shipping is bad, try adding your teenage boy to your auto policy

Maybe even more problematic then that the shipping is expensive is that it seems unfair. It's that it's FREE in Germany and then really HUGE just behind the border of Germany. If it just matched the real pricing, no one would complain I guess.

I'm probably never going to consider backing another project with 4+ decks being released at the same time. Not just because Stories is the first time that I was scammed on KS, but 7 luxury decks in 1 campaign? How overloaded must this thing be?

BACKER PERSPECTIVE: A single luxury deck works for most campaigns (use S17's Gemini as a prime example) because the 'special' deck doesn't completely overshadow the 2 'base' decks. What's the point of the red/blue decks if there are 5 others that are more titillating?

The effort put into this campaign/design could have been spread across 2 whole projects. The way I look at this campaign right now is, "cool, only the extremely affluent can afford to collect and appreciate all of the work put into this series".

You did such a perfect job with Parlour, IMO, that reinventing the wheel in this case doesn't make sense from my POV.

As I speculated I would earlier in this thread, I have decided to drop my pledge. Nothing against Omar, but it's just not a design for me and I'm making some stronger choices about what I want to support and spend my funds.

Thabks for the in-depth perspective. But I think you may have arrived at the counter argument without any help from me… “this case doesn't make sense from my POV.” My decisions are not designed from your POV. Campaigns are a business.business decisions take a bunch of things into account and I think you”ll find that a quarter million dollars in funds or more raised dictates proper business decisions. My choices are not perfect. I am learning constantly. I’ve learned a ton even from this experience. I’m trying to please everyone knowing full well that is impossible. So some folks will be frustrated. I believe it’s a vocal minority. Because I’ve also received messages in private from big ticket backers commending me on this project. Whom should I give more credence too?

I strategically put that there because there is no ironclad argument. It's impossible to reconcile how much more successful this campaign could have been received if my POV was considered instead, though (underline #2). Just because something is successful to a degree of your satisfaction does not mean that it cannot be improved, and I know that you know this.

While my reputation may be one of aggression and being a brute, don't take any of this as dictatorial. It's just honest feedback from me as if we were sitting down at lunch. I sincerely doubt that most people interested in this design actually want 7 different variants. Or 6. Or 5.
