I appreciate your engagement in here but I remind you for a second time that you don't have to answer to everyone posting in a forum. It's your project that gets talked about but this is not your thread.

Furthermore. If a lot of folks wouldn't make multiple posts in a row, quoting multiple people and quoting quotes within quotes, then maybe, just maybe your points wouldn't get lost in between a shitshow of circlejerking.

Maybe he wants it known that this is the last he'll say in the subject rather than, as you suggest, he "just stop talking about it" and then have people think he is ignoring them or avoiding the subject when they mention it again. Just a thought.

u honestly have 2 much time on ur hands to “stat everything” as if everyone cares about funding goals before or after for a flat box prize yaaaah 😆 🤣 🙄
really????!

Like Harvonsgard said ur relentless posting of quotes on quotes is quite annoying and will further lead to less ppl backing ur over-priced project as u feel over engaging in every post is a positive in ur mind

not everyone cares to engage as much as u do but ur posts r becoming more childish n funny at the same time

more n more ppl r seeing the big pic now

The more people who ignore that sad individual (whom I don't think has ever made a positive comment on this forum and who also apparently has no idea on how to type full words) the better off we all will be.

If I was a mod he would be banned. He adds nothing to the conversation, has never made a valid point and only serves to be a negative force in the community. Why is he allowed to continue? What’s the point of having someone on the forum that everyone has on IGNORE? I only knew of their participation because people quoted them.

Offering display decks for the expensive variants that cannot be added-on, to those who are buying said decks, would eliminate my negative criticisms of this campaign. That would make me happy, even if I don't have any skin in this game anymore. I simply think that that is the right thing to do.

I look at the campaign right now and it plays out like the Prism variant is a Lotrek deck; Limited, fancy, etc. Except that it's not a Lotrek deck, it's part of a 6-deck series all being released simultaneously. One cannot just buy 2 Prism decks for $100/ea and then open 1 of them. It's $500 for the full set, and you can't open 2-3 of them, because you can't add-on duplicates and it's unaffordable to buy 2 sets (unlike with Lotrek's decks at launch).

I think that only bundling the full set into a 'must-buy sarcophagus' tier was just poor logistical thinking, by ignoring collector tendencies. Minty can pull it off with 2 signature decks. However, those signature decks, you guessed it... Have original versions that can be opened and appreciated for what they are.

It comes off as more of a Fancy Sarcophagus Half-Brick Box campaign than a playing card deck campaign, because of the focus at top-level tiers.

That is not exactly true - hsbc did request to let that lie, and frankly I would agree that its just stressing TGW and wish it would be respected that he made a decision - but it is not banned from discussion.

I also think that it is more of a fancy sarcophagus campaign (not sure I’m correct in that, but that has always been my impression) - which is TGW’s right to run.

I could be wrong, but he (Omar) seems to be stressed out by the fact that more people want access to Prism. I don't really want that, I just want those who do have access to Prism to be able to open a copy if they don't want to open the original. I'll drop it if a decision has been made on that front, but it seemed like something he was willing to discuss before I backed out.

TGW has every right to run the campaign as he sees fit. That being said, to me, it's unfortunate that this particular project seems like it was created by ignoring one's inner playing card collector. In a 'normal' project there are more things offered than I am interested in. Here, there's less than I am looking for, which is a weird change of pace.

To add to this, Omar said a few times the campaign has slowed down, and there have been suggestions on how to get more funding (like prism display decks for everyone who wants copies, the relief sculpt, mini decks before the funding goal) but those seem to get rejected sadly.

Yep, I saw, and display decks could be un-foiled, ungilded, without a pretty purple box. I don't think people were suggesting prism decks for everyone afaik. Omar doesn't have to respond, he already has. Doesn't mean everyone else can't discuss ideas. :P

No, I said that it certainly was not a banned topic - my response was to capra, for his information, for him to decide whether he wished to continue discussing it.

“I could be wrong, but he (Omar) seems to be stressed out by the fact that more people want access to Prism. I don't really want that, I just want those who do have access to Prism to be able to open a copy if they don't want to open the original. On re-reading his post it seems Capra was really asking if Prism display decks would be made available to prism backers for certain - which I believe they are, but I need to check to be sure…

I sent TGW a PM to check

That would be news to me but due to clutter I'm not as vigilante in this thread as I'm in others so, possible I missed something but to my knowledge Prism is only 400 printed and that's it - no display decks, no add-ons. 364 are currently hold by backers so even if he would open the rest to Prism backers on backerkit only 56 left. If you're a hardcore collector that wants one sealed and one to open two sarcophagous is the way to go for now.
