I'd love to see the line art a tad more refined. I like the overall style a lot.

I can see where you are coming from, especially with these larger images, but I think when reduced to card size they will reproduce that almanac art feel very well. We shall see.

So far I only like the Meadowlark (1st campaign) and Blue Jay decks

Re: Almanac by Meadowlark
First is a flagship deck, artist by Russel Gray
Second is a dentist and sweets, artist is Elettra (missed the Black Licorice)
Third is a vintage pharmacy, back to Russel Grey
Now is an almanac of... products? and goes back to Elettra
Themes so far are interesting, for sure!

Re: Almanac by Meadowlark
I need another deck like a hole in the head...here comes another hole I guess.
Seeing that Ace of Diamonds card reminds me of my time in England. Coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon. The coffee pot was retired at exactly noon and the tea pot was place out at noon. No tea in the morning and no coffee in the afternoon. To do otherwise was simply unthinkable and barbaric. Even earlier when I was in college, I would get loose tea from a local import shop.

Not a fan of Legends printing but a huge fan of Elettra's art on that project and Boschiero&Newton tuck boxes.

Re: Almanac by Meadowlark
I love Electtra art work, such talent.
I believe her Genoese Tarot deck will be released before this one.

Would be in line to purchase both. What I am really looking forward to is her “Fly on the wall” deck.

Ditto. I'm a huge fan of transformation decks, and that one looks like it is going to be outstanding, and a real "must have"!DestinationQ1 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 6:03 pm Would be in line to purchase both. What I am really looking forward to is her “Fly on the wall” deck.

Re: Almanac by Meadowlark
Such a cool concept executed beautifully. Looking forward to this campaign coming to fruition! I have currently backed 1 of each deck but may up it to 2 in order to keep one sealed.
Bummer to whoever won the auction for Sweet Tooth Chronicles on SoCal that went for $250. Fifteen of them got added on to this campaign for $115ea.

Re: Almanac by Meadowlark
I woke up with that awful feeling that I might have gotten the time zones wrong - and quickly realized that I had. Managed to hop in just in time to get the tier with a prototype - whew - that was too close. I have all their other prototypes and not having this one was just not going to be acceptable.
Will still be on the lookout for uncuts, either a dropped one or one of those that might appear after the campaign - but I can live with the thought that they probably sold out the 5 fast enough that I would have missed them no matter what
In for three bricks before it was all over.

I love Elettra Deganello's work, and this is no exception.
This project has a Volume 1 and a Volume 2.
Here's some of the images showcasing the Volume 1 deck.

These are well executed, beautiful, and artistically interesting. I really like everything Meadowlark has done, even if I don’t always buy.

Re: Almanac by Meadowlark
this is the first meadowlark campaign i will probably join because the price is lower than usual. i think $15 for volume 1 with full feature tuck and metallic in on cards is right on point. these kind of decks are pretty much at $18+ now. i have not done their previous campaigns because, as best i recall, they were higher in price.
as i will try to do on every campaign that has a structure i appreciate, i appreciate being able to get single decks and not having to get a set or having gated decks behind items or having to buy other decks.

Re: Almanac by Meadowlark
I always incorporate shipping in pricing. $21 is too much for me. But it's close- these are REALLY nice. That's why I'm keeping an eye on them.STLBluesNut wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 11:46 amthis is the first meadowlark campaign i will probably join because the price is lower than usual. i think $15 for volume 1 with full feature tuck and metallic in on cards is right on point. these kind of decks are pretty much at $18+ now. i have not done their previous campaigns because, as best i recall, they were higher in price.

With all these bricks, I expect to see you build a house with them, otherwise I'll be quite disappointed!GandalfPC wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 10:03 am I woke up with that awful feeling that I might have gotten the time zones wrong - and quickly realized that I had.
