So usually when I post pics it produces some feedback and critiques. Lol. I hope the relative silence in this thread is more one of satisfaction than of indifference. Hahaha.
Well for me, and will say it again: this will easily beats up the STANDARDS by AoP. The luxurious box (which I sadly will never have), the decks, everything are just great. Color choices are great as well. Artworks are great as usual - although something bout the courts just bugged me, but maybe it’s just me - first time seeing Cantrell do standard courts, I guess
Still bit shame there is no sleeve for Dynastinae ones. Comparing the white and purple for decks with sleeve, I prefer the white

Maybe if the campaign does extraordinarily well. Like record breaking well I will add a sleeve to Dynastinae. Trying to keep costs down and the metal sculpts aren’t cheap to produce and ship.
i wrote out a post but don't see it here yesterday. i must have not hit the submit button. the middle cold foil deck look really good. the successor back doesn't really do it for me which is no big deal because both of those decks are gated purchases that i wouldn't buy anyway. i will likely be in for the white deck, no use for me to buy more than 1 since all the cards are the same, save color.

Out of curiosity, why do you go with the white deck (apologies - forget the name) for the sleeve instead of the Dynastinae? I was initially thinking the Dynastinae was a bit like the flagship of the brand as it will soon see its 3rd iteration - though perhaps the Prism now really fills that role as its the most exclusive. Even still, Dynastinae struck me as a variant that would always see special treatment - or at least the same special treatment
Regarding the reason the white gets a sleeve rather than Dynastinae is I wanted to offer different decks that satisfied different desires. The white deck is the most elaborate of the standard “hourglass back” while the Dynastinae (limited as always to 777) would feature an entire different distinct back ambigram design. To help differentiate the prism from the Dynastinae I add the sleeve to more exclusive prism deck. In the end I wanted both decks to be unique and almost on a level playing field, although the Dynastinae is less expensive despite is exclusivity.

Well, if I'm able to get the Purple and White decks alone then I'll be supporting these.
I have a wealth of tiers. Almost too many. Having too many can produce confusion for backers. I don’t currently have a tier for the white deck alone. Although it can be added to any tier. So in theory you could pledge for a standard blue or red and add in the white. Because the white deck is limited the number of add ons will be limited to those decks slotted for that role.

Gotcha. Thank you for sharing your thinking/approach.

I am sure it will funded well XD maybe. Seeing how Tempest goes is probably enough to believe the Successor will fund. But hmm, was it high because of the designer behind it. The funding goes well depends if Kevin Cantrell’s decks received positive outcomes to create a fanbase - aka people who have seen or acquired these: Standards, Citizens, Toms Town, Tavern on the Green, the upcoming Lord of the Rings

Enough with the photos. Launch the campaign! (I understand why you might need to wait)
Haha. I’m desperate to launch too. I need the tucks in hand tho. I need photographs for the campaign page. I need to shoot my campaign video. Having said that, I think May 24th at noon et is the time and day.
I might have mentioned it before, but this will be TGWs best deck - hands down.
I was convinced to sit this one out and wait for the TGW/Widdak decks to get my first TGW decks but I might have to reconsider...

This makes me very happy indeed. To win over the skeptic is the challenge of every entrepreneur and marketer.
I'm also offically announcing the launch day and time as May 24th at 12pm Noon Eastern, with a giveaway-filled launch livestream event at 10am ET on my Youtube channel.
Here’s a shot of the successor Dynastinae prototype tucks. The prototype decks will number 50. 20 of which will be used for photo and video and social media. The remaining 30 will be hand numbered and signed on the interior tuck flap and assigned to the highest tier participants in the campaign. The cards inside, printed by Cartamundi, will be cellophaned and feature 9-10 cards of each back design in the project. Each tuck will be randomly assigned and feature color foil combos that were auditioned but ultimately not chosen for final production. Like the assembled Dynastinae tuck below which features regular black foil. Rather than the chosen black holo foil.
So a bit of an update for top tier pricing. The sarcophagus tier is now $475 early bird. $495 normally. The price increase was a result of some more recent estimates on shipping charges of the heavy sarcophagus from manufacturer to fulfillment centers. Shipping is really a nightmare. The $25 increase doesn’t cover the estimate but I wanted to commit to a less than $500 price.
The prototypes will sell for the equivalent of $70. So $545 early bird. $565 regular. This will help cover the cost of the prototyping which of course came out of pocket. Again it doesn’t cover the cost but mitigates it. I am taking steps to make the prototypes worth the cost. Hoping to have a signed and number bottom seal and the decks cellophaned. That is my hope. Tho still unconfirmed. What is confirmed is that all prototypes will have a alternate foiled tuck case. At most there will be two of each style. But they will be super unique. And if the seal isn’t possible I will hand sign and number the tuck on the interior flap.
