Fulton's Chinatown (Yellow) Anyone ever opened it?
Fulton's Chinatown (Yellow) Anyone ever opened it?
I decided to open up a Yellow Game of Death Deck.
and unlike the original red versions, These Do not fan at all, and also seems to stick in clumps when I Pulled them out.
Stack of 52 cards also was 4-5 cards thicker than the red version
There doesn't seem to be much finish to this.
Doesn't seem like a counterfeit. but I can not find any reviews online on this.
Anyone open these, can let me know their experience?'
Thanks

Um yeah and they were fine for me. Check out a review on my channel. I think it may have just sat a long time in humid conditions.

I am not a cardist nor a magician but my Ace Fulton's Casino decks are very similar, they clump etc. As far as I know Fulton's decks are on same Bee stock, but as we know, the thickness of a stock varies as it is not excactly the same everytime.cere23 wrote:I decided to open up a Yellow Game of Death Deck.

"There dosen't see to be much finish to this" It is the same Air cushion finish as in almost every other USPCC deck. The amount of finish is not something that varies, Air Cushion finish simply means that there is that dimple pattern on the cards. The Game of Death deck has the same finish as a Bicycle Standard for example. The USPCC decks that don't have the dimple pattern on them and have a smooth surface have a Smooth finish. And that is it. No USPCC deck has a better or worse finish than any other USPCC deck. There is also of course Magic finish which is an optional chemical coat on the cards. Some decks have it, but not that many. So when Ellusionist said that they tried over a 1000 different finishes on a deck is a 100 % BS. When they said that SWE deck had a customised finish was 100 % BS.
I don't know the reason they clump but sometimes that happends.

So do they fan well, I didn't see you fan it in the video?
because the ones I opened do not fan at all. it just breaks down in 2 to 4 peices. (they don't glide)

Hmm, never noticed before but I guess they are a bit hard to fan.
I'm not very good at fanning, but here's a comparison to the Texas player edition.

Re: Fulton's Chinatown (Yellow) Anyone ever opened it?
hi 4ofc,
i assume those are both practically new ?
I also noticed the yellow ones , stock is softer, lacking snap. Dribbles also stick.
My opened red chinatowns fans like those texas cards.
just wondering if D&D dropped the ball, or i got a defective deck,
Before I dicide to open another one,

Will there be anything different besides the tuck? Brad's rather minimal so to speak when it comes to variants.

Re: Fulton's Chinatown (Yellow) Anyone ever opened it?
I was always unhappy with the colors on the original Chinatown. A decade does a lot of things to a man, and a project. I had an idea last year, what if I could right the wrongs of the past? What would @clovestpress do with this iconic tuck? What would I do?
...
I printed a very limited edition of Chinatown for the Tenth Anniversary. I can’t wait to show you the back colors. Hint. They’re not on the tuck. More details soon.

If this wasn't going to be $18+ I'd be on it. Maybe I'll wait for Penguin to get some and at least get free shipping out of it.

Re: Fulton's Chinatown (Yellow) Anyone ever opened it?
I jumped on a few of these. I wasn't collecting when these were originally released. I impulsively picked up a jade tuck, which was probably silly of me at that price, in hindsight. But I've made sillier pickups.
