This was the orignial blatant cash grab, preceding even T11 and BC. Asher originally tried to justify it by saying this was a way for a few to get a JN at below market prices, but now its just ridiculous.

FYI, I do have some insight here and Asher is not the one setting the prices as these are not his decks. Asher is the authority and he is vendoring these decks for another party. So let's not call Asher names or accuse HIM of price gouging. To be fair, these are highly limited pieces and in a free market economy this person is within his rights to get whatever he can. It's supply and demand.

Ah, Asher has a big hand in the price. It is not like he is doing this for free. The higher they sell for, the more he gets. Still, I agree, what the market will charge is usually what the people have been willing to pay. Can't begrudge someone for making a buck. I think most of us would like to have a Jerry in our collection. I know I would but not enough to drop that kind of cash on them. Congrats to anyone who does get one, truly a nice centerpiece for us card nerds.

I clicked on the button on the spot, I could have got one for $280, which is way more than the fair value of a jerry's nugget deck imo, so I passed.

I'm fine with the set I already got anyway

Just for thrills, I so happened to click on the very last one lol. I literally had my ipad and iPhone on the page to see if it really did run in real time or had a delay. Once I let it sit for a few minutes it went back on the site and sold in about 5 seconds. Then it said all the decks were sold Lol. That was my thrill of the day, and as close to the edge as I like it lol. $400 a deck, nay I say.
