I get the impression he made a judgement call, likely based on some promises by the shipping company, but it didn't work out for him. He absoluely should have made it clear to backers that he didn't change shippers and is paying for it now reputationally. Note that he could have changed shippers and still had issues.

Feeling sorry for him doesn't mean I agree wih his actions.

While I haven't heard directly from anyone regarding this campaign, his team has always made good on dings and other shipping issues in the past, and until I hear otherwise, I have no reason to believe that's changed.

I have other issues with the campaign (which I backed and which I received in excellent condition; luck of the proverbial draw, I guess, but given how the shipping is going for a few others, I'm not going to pile on, either), but I have never, ever been concerned that I wouldn't get what I pledged for with Jody and his team.

So, yeah, until we hear otherwise, I think he's replacing the dinged ones.

he has been really good, my dominions got replaced and i have order confirmation of replacement for the damage in this one as well but would rather not go through the process, hope he gets things sorted

Hi everyone!

I am so sorry for all of you who received your Krakens damaged. Be sure to message me and I will get you on a resend list. I am currently waiting for my last aired shipment to come in from China hopefully this week and I can start resending the damaged orders.

I just want to be clear, I never lied to anyone, or mislead you all. The decision to use a fulfillment company is all on me. I take full responsibility for your damages. I always intended on using a different fulfillment company, but the cost of air freighting and sea freighting tripled at the end of 2021 and because, I had already worked out the shipping prices on the Kickstarter, I would have been in for a huge loss.

If you all noticed, each item in a package had a thin cardboard box around it, even the 1 deck items. This was to cut down on the corners getting dings, which didn't seem to matter in the end. Because there was no extra bubble wrap in each order like I asked for. Because of that, there were many who received damaged packages. The thin boxes where not for true protection.

So, I am now looking at fulfilling all Kickstarters myself from the US for all future projects. This will ensure best fulfillment for all of you. The truth is, I don't feel I can trust anyone else to fulfill my projects. These are beautiful decks and I can't stand seeing them damaged. My sincerest apologies. I will give more updates as I know more details.

So, I am now looking at fulfilling all Kickstarters myself from the US for all future projects. This will ensure best fulfillment for all of you. The truth is, I don't feel I can trust anyone else to fulfill my projects. These are beautiful decks and I can't stand seeing them damaged. My sincerest apologies. I will give more updates as I know more details.

Always a class act and first rate customer service. I never have to worry about any of your projects. Sorry to hear how bad it has gotten for you for 2 projects in terms of fulfillment.

However do consider checking with Henry Cortez of SoCal PC. I have seen SoCal do fulfillment for Jocu's US customers. If I recall correctly, SoCal set a new standard by using bio-friendly bubble wrap and deck sleeves for all decks sold; this was later copied by other online retailers. You should see if they are willing to do fulfillment at the right price for you. At the very least partial fulfillment like int'l or US while you handle the rest.

This will give you more time to spend on designing rather than fulfilmment.

I got my replacement for the dinged decks from the initial package. Thank you for willing to replace. Hmm, should I go get the extra Red edition or not - for the sake to complete the trio and having two complete sets or don't

I have a touch of that OCD, myself, and prefer to complete the set when I can without spending *too* too much. YMMV, but if you can pick it up for anywhere close to what the KS price was, I know *I* would scratch that itch.
