100 of these (or more than half) is the base deck which you can also pledge for for much less? How is this not just a lottery which is, btw, against Kickstarter rules?

The "Random Deck" was one of the most popular rewards from day one, with about 20 remaining. We decided to improve it, adding another random component.

As Strag said I'd check with Kickstarter about this!

Kickstarter is all about the cha-ching. Which I don't mind 'cause customers should know what they are pledging for. Regardless if kickstarter allows this or not, I wouldn't touch something fishy/lottery like that with gloves and a ten feet pole but if people are up to such stuff all power to them.

I also doubt KS gives a flying poop, but you never know. Besides, people line up to buy mystery decks all the time, this is exactly the same thing.

I agree that KS will likely not enfoce their own rules (they have a history of this) but most if not all mytery deck sales promise that the value of the decks will be greate than the mystery price on an individual basis. That is not the case here where more than half the mystery decks available will be below the purchase price quite substantially.

Thank you for reporting the problem. I won’t dwell on the issue, considering that it has been clearly explained by the forum admin. I can assure you that before starting the project it has been verified, having contacted kickstarter has ascertained that there are no Illegalities. Kickstarter for "lotteries" means a prize draw (trips, coupons, etc.) that does not conform to the products of the campaign in question, also the "lotteries" does not guarantee a prize to each backers.

That said, we will write on this forum, only argomenit related to the progress of our campaign, so that our backers (or a new backer ), can stay updated. If you are interested in participating in our campaign and you have doubts of any kind we are at your disposal.

I don't know, guys. I'm not a backer, but if I was, I would have thought it was nice of them to post updates here and even let people know that certain limited tiers are available. I mean sure, if it was just thread bumping I'd get it, but there's actual information being posted.

It wouldn’t bother me much if it was actual info. This is just repeatedly saying there is more stock of the old stuff. Which should be pushed thru updates on Kickstarter. Not necessarily here. But I could be wrong of course.

Just a couple days ago I saw someone here mention they always miss KS updates and so they like having updates posted here too
