Re: Asura Pocket Knives
You know, I was just thinking to myself, "what theme hasn't been used yet on a deck of cars?" Now I can check "pocket knives" off my list. I can also check "not buying the pocket knife deck" off my list.

Re: Asura Pocket Knives
I was thinking of posting it with a warning - it is so “cardistry hip” that it will be shocking and offensive to many - but for flipping around stacks of cards it rings a bell visually for me - even before seeing a clip of them in motion, but certainly after
(I personally am neither young enough, nor hip enough to be “cardistry hip”, as my use of the phrase “cardistry hip” reveals, but I like them anyway )

if this deck of cards is shocking or offensive to anyone, then they have other issues =p

I was being jovial - just meant I knew there would be plenty of people who took a disliking to them who would feel compelled to dress them down

What do we know about this deck?
From this pic of 2 uncut cards, I am thinking it is not a game playing deck

Dang... a shame I missed that Bhuddism deck. Still not a fan of the overall designs though. Very crude and unbalanced.

About bhuddism? Or why the deck designs are generally badly designed?

Re: YANGAANYAUHEI Megathread [YGH]
Love the knife deck, wished I loved the fish or butterfly more, not nearly cool enough to work the other decks.
This series always makes me think of someone on a far flung street doing cardistry moves far beyond my ability - which I find a pleasant thought…

More whether it is a regular playing deck (as my pic shows two 8oS - unless one is a gaff)Harvonsgard wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 7:19 pm About bhuddism? Or why the deck designs are generally badly designed?
I am thinking G's post about cardistry moves gives me the answer

lulz, what? I honestly didn't expect that they have a dedicated collector (or more) that is willing to put those kinda bucks on the table.

Re: YANGAANYAUHEI Megathread [YGH]
I received a YGH deck of cards from a friend as a gift recently, and while the cutting is satisfactory, I feel that the cards aren't as smooth as I would like. At the bottom of the tuck remind you should replace your deck every 3 months. Imo If it's free / less than 6 USD, it's good deal for me, but for 12 or above, i think there're better choice.

So I take it that you were not the buyer of the $152 deck auctioned on SoCal (see my post half way up page)
