I can’t wait for these. Ironman and Captain America need a friend on the shelf. Still holding out hope for a Thor.

Lel... don't do it, save your money @Kasuma. Calling something TXI isn't a compliment in my realm.

Never change a running system. If people buy for the franchise/tuck alone, why would you ever put effort in the card design?

Names on the courts... I guess something had to fill the void. Kudos for printing Spider-Man on every card, too. Seems like Card Mafia doesn't think their customers will be able to figure out which superhero this deck is about.

This style worked so much better for the Iron Man decks. I really dislike it for the white background and similar to Captain America why it's a no for me.

Idk why I find this so funny considering "Rhino" and "Vulture", but Lizard has got to be the worst villain name I have ever seen lol. If memory serves, that's the doctor that helps Peter understand his mutations, right? I thought they referred to him as Dr. "whateverhisnameis". Lizard is just comically bad haha.

If you're referring to the movie he was in, the movies often avoid the classic names, at least if the names are on the silly side. But in the comics, the name of the villain/creature Dr. Connors turns into is indeed "The Lizard".

My exposure to Spider-man is mostly from reruns of the animates series that aired I think on Fox Kids on Saturday mornings. Interesting though, I wonder why they chose different routes with the comic and silver/big screen adaptations. Dr. Connors is much more humanizing than "The Lizard" and is definitely a good way to show the "not white/black but grey" nature of his villainy. Who knows?

I really like these tuck boxes a lot (for the whole line). The card backs are pretty good across the whole marvel line. The pips are okay. I wish the court card artwork was a bit better.

I haven't seen this type of tuck box in person, but it seems like the kind of thing that would be cool once but extremely clunky and impractical.

I like them - they would make nice pieces for the display cabinet - but the cards inside are designed in such a way as to prevent my purchase.
