Hi all
I'm working on something that I hope will benefit everyone in the long run.
Couple years ago I managed to find data compiled by someone very dedicated to the industry stats...it was basically a spreadsheet with all the projects that were funded and all the data, for 2018. respect to whoever compiled that - amazing job.
Does anyone have that same data for 2020 maybe please?
Thanks
Andrew

I did start it and then Amy helped in maintaining it for a number of months/years. It is not being maintained anymore.

It is nearly impossible to maintain. I am surprised anyone even attempted it. However, that was one of the biggest challenges to figuring out who to even nominate. What decks even qualified. it has gotten even harder as KWP doesn't have Kickstarter campaigns anymore, and the same goes for a number of creators with Patreon kicking into gear and savings involved selling directly. I do know there is a spreadsheet on KWP listing all of his decks that is maintained. I am sure there are a few collectors that keep meticulous records of the decks they get in great detail. It is one of the related compulsions with folks that collect things.

Re: Project Funding Stats
Unfortunately that level of data aggregation is only justified when professional marketers move into a niche, and there are almost no real marketers in this space. However, if that happens then we will see the professionalization of the process which will kill the vibe of most of the market.
I suppose that if P52 became viable through advertising in its platform it could work, but again the reach is not really justifiable for marketers compared to other options.
The best way would be for someone to develop a simple app which could hook into Kickstarter through API and pull all the Playing Card data, but I don't think that access exists yet. In the future I am sure it will though.
