Indeed, but the backers who got the "smoke test" surveys snapped them all up, so most people never even saw them.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Just a thought, I wonder if people hold particular pledges so other people won't get them just to drop them at the end or drop it whenever to someone they know to get it?

Some get a massive pledge because FOMO and drop out at the end when they decide they only want a few things.
Others just drop for whatever reason. And some of em mention it to help others get lucky. Giving back to the community sorta thing.
Worst offenders are limited early birds though.

Me too, we are on the same boat haha

But look at dat Dynastinae, at least that should suffice!

Lotrek's decks arrived in our Germany fulfillment center where they will be separated and shipped to Texas for North American fulfillment. I would say realistically 2 weeks from now the packages should start to go out.

FINALLY!

If you think you were waiting a long time, This project felt never ending to me. It not only delayed my next KS campaign by 8 months but caused me to take on a tremendous amount of editorial work to make ends meet during the delay. Which of course has had massive ramifications on the youtube channel--which I've been unable to make content for. WHICH in turn will surely mess with the success of the next deck campaign. It's been a nightmare scenario to be honest. I've been ill from the stress.
Wake, pat yourself on the back, that this project is DONE! The decks are on their way - and that what matters! It took almost a year, yet as Lotrek said: it’s worth the wait!

on your successors thread you asked about mid campaign releases. just read back in this very thread to see how many people missed prism and wished they were able to get it to answer your question.

This campaign and Charmers are the first two campaigns where I had to get a brick to get an exclusive deck (Prism and gold tuck red gilded Charmers decks).
I would prefer to pay a higher price for a deck but if getting a brick is what I have to do then so be it.

I don’t mind getting a brick if it has at highest 2 of each of the decks I want.
If it means buying 5x standard 5x standard with a different color and then 1 of each of the “rare” decks I’ll likely pass.
So it totally depends on how that brick is built.

you do you but this is exactly why they do it and will continue to do it unfortunately. for as many people that don't like this practice, as long as they sell enough to the others that don't care then they don't care about the number of people that don't like it or that they stiff by using said practice.

Tempest all the way the courts are just better. Not to mention that Dynastinæ is a Cartamundi cold foil deck - which leaves me pretty cold - and Tempest is hotfoil printed by Lotrék. Not even close in my opinion.

When it comes to courts then yes, Tempest wins all the way. I will wait for the final verdict when I hold them side by side. Ideal Dynastinæ deck would be Parlour back with Tempest courts. :D

They'll be shipping soon, asking if the address is correct. 15+ decks are coming.

I love how Lotrek does the standardize courts. Somehow I fell in love with the King of Hearts under his art direction. Did I suffer Stendahl syndrome

Did anyone get their decks so far? I joined the party a bit late and found the backerkit campaign but I'm surprized to hear nothing since a while.

Decks have not been sent out to backers. I think we are all in a holding pattern until after the holidays. Not sure of the current timing. It will be here....sometime.

TGW in the KS comments wrote:The reason for the quiet period is because I have no concrete information to give you other than the decks are being prepared for fulfillment by gamblers warehouse and deallez respectively. It’s getting near the end of the year and there are a lot of holidays. Something I was well aware of when I was pushing for Lotrek to get his decks done as soon as possible. I will write an update as soon as I have concrete information.

I promise I'm on top of the fulfillment centers everyone! It doesn't help that the decks finally became ready just in time for the holiday crunch. :( It's like the Tale of the Tempest in real life. A shipwreck on far away island with all hopes on a letter in a bottle at sea.... but it will reach the shore! I promise!

According to an email sent to backers tonight, non-US fulfilment is happening now and some backers will receive their decks before xmas...which is great, unless you're spending xmas away from home. There's a small chance it will fit through my letterbox, but if not I would hate for it to be left on my doorstep for days and inevitably stolen or rained on.

Those poor 16 souls who will never get their Parlour Dynastinae will be replaced with Tempest Dynastinae that are signed

Consider that as a very lucky day, or maybe it still a shame they don’t get what they wanted - can opt for refund

I feel for those guys missing out on the Parlour Dynastinae. The eradication of private reserves to partially fulfill a project is troubling. That said, I completely understand how GW can lose stuff. Being a painter of miniature models I know what it's like "losing" paint you now you bought months ago but TODAY is the day you want to use it. Then, randomly, four months after you've not looked for a while and definitely not bought a new one cos you KNOW it's here somewhere, guaranteed it'll be only very slightly to the right of where you thought it was. No, I'm not speaking as the voice of bitter experience. First time I've ever heard it happening to a playing card campaign and GW tho.

I HOPE THEY SHOW UP! Cos it's one of my favourite decks; and I wanna share the joy.

Yeah, I know what that's like, too, and warehouse management is particularly tricky. That said... if you're managing a warehouse, that's a different situation from if you're just engaging in a hobby.

I wonder how GW compensates creators when they lose their product. Because, that's a lot of potential dollars in sales that they misplaced.
