I actually had some of the worst customer service in awhile on Friday. Quickly inspected that my order was incomplete, immediately informed the worker and was told, "it's in there". Lol, as if I'm not going to immediately go in the store to hash this out? The worker was literally bothered by the fact that her manager completed my order, too.
I'm no Karen, but I sent that problem to corporate. It's tantamount to theft if someone tells you that they didn't receive what they paid for, and you lie to their face.
Curious to know which store was it. Surprised that in this day and age, these kind of disputes aren't settled in store by the manager.
It was my beloved Popeye's.
Maybe the manager had a talk with the employee at some point about their behavior, IDK. It was worth reporting to corporate. I tolerate a lot of things, but shitty customer service is at the top of my list of unacceptable. My threshold for good customer service isn't astronomical, either.

Reminds me of a time (1987 if I remember correctly) when McDonalds still sold the McDLT (still miss them) I ordered one in a meal and when I sat down and opened it, the side with the beef had no beef. Ok. No problem. Crap happens and it's a tough job. I took it to the counter and explained to the girl who took my order. She accused me of eating the beef patty and trying to get another. I politely asked for the manager. I explained again what happened and that all I wanted was a complete sandwich. The girl who took my order was indignant and insisted that I ate it. I said, well aside from the fact I was away from the counter for less than 30 seconds and didn't really have time to eat the patty.... Where are the grease spots on the bun? If you put a fried beef patty on that bun, there would be grease on it. Or did I lick it off? She looked dumbfounded for a few seconds then the manager went to get my complete sandwich. He also gave me a full refund and made Miss "he ate the patty" ring up the refund..... Karma. Yes it's a B*tch. And sweet.

That's crazy how similar our stories are. In my case, if that was one of my first trips to Popeye's, I would have been completely turned off from the franchise. People really need to be careful about how they approach customer service, and management needs to be diligent in handling bad experiences.

You guys may not hear from me for awhile. I know that this is really the only sub-forum that I post in over the past year or so. That may disappoint some, but I'm sure others have rejoiced. The sad reality is that I only really have time to check in while I'm at the office, and I won't be here after today until January 5th, I think.
I hope that everyone enjoys Spider-Man: No Way Home, has a merry Chris-mas, and a happy New Year.

Well, let's see what you think of Spidey when you finally get back in the other forum.

Harvonsgard not a big fan of the military huh?
I'm no fan of any person that reaches unasked into my wallet. Especially not to finance their happy camp trips to Afghanistan to replace the Taliban for - wait for it (incoming punch line) - the Taliban, lmao.
