Very cool build. Any plans on giving fhe wood a nice finish? Does the board have wiggle room? I can see me being annoyed if the cushion would move when e.g. spreading the cards or something.

Zero wiggle room. The pad fits nice and snug hence the hole in the base. It makes easier to pop out. The location of the hole will be moved to a edge on the final product For more ergonomic operation.
I haven’t worked out all the kinks yet but it’s coming along nicely.
I posted another topic in the general decision board for some close-up pad feed back on what’s out there. I’m hoping to get some user based feedback so I can offer something “high end” for reasonable money. Thanks for checking it out!
