Does he not limit his gilding? After my first campaign, I realized I need to limit the gilding. It takes an extra 2 weeks on top of production if not more to make them by hand. My first time I did it, I didn't limit it to one deck and to a limited amount. That was before the gilding fatige. Although, it looks like gilding is still hot. I am limiting Dominion to 750 gilded Black decks. This is still alot for them to hand gild, so hopefully it won't take too long to make them

Jody, you might want to check add on shipping for the full brick. It's only $4 vs $20 stand alone. You can buy a black deck + brick for $290 vs the brick alone for $288. Not a biggie but figured I'd flag it to you. Or just call it the baker's brick deal

Nope, as far as I can tell it's unlimited. It's really nice when you pledge for a brick and can then choose to gild a portion of them as opposed to adding on additional decks. That said, I'm sure it adds to the logistics. Perhaps he has something worked out with Caramundi?

Dominion Gold Edition will be available for purchase starting August 17th. This is a new deck in the Dominion series. It's full foiled cards like the Red Edition.

This was a last minute edition to the Dominion collection, but didn't want to delay the Kickstarter Fulfillment that is happening right now.

The Kickstarter fulfillment should start next week.

I will have this extra edition on sale through my website (blackinkbranded.com) and will deliver the orders within a week from the launch on the 17th of August.

Just to reiterate, this was a last minute decision to add this to the Dominion line-up, but didn't want to complicate the Kickstarter or delay it's fulfillment.

I am working on making the website orders of the Gold Edition Shipping FREE. Can't promise this yet, but will know by next week.

Yes, it will be at $22 at first and then go to $25. This will be the same for the Red edition.

I don't think they will sell out that fast, but I guess that is dependent on the number available and price. The kickstarter decks were not cheap in my opinion. I am fairly sure I will be able to get what I want. If not, mo big deal.

To be honest, I have gilding fatigue too.

Basically if you want to use the cards, gilding wears off pretty quickly and it makes the cards look terrible.
Now if there are some nice shapes and patterns, you ruin the effect with the first shuffle.
If you leave them in the tuck case (like I do with KWP gilded decks for example) I just think about future generations, when someone opens the tuck case and there's a brick of unsplittable cards and in an attempt to split them, the gilding turns to a dust. :/
The way to properly enjoy gilded deck is to open the case, split the cards, enjoy the looks, put them back in the tuck case to preserve it for as long as possible.

Correct, this is foiled front and back, but not gilded. If I recall correctly, the only gilded Dominion is a Black Gilded. I honestly was hoping all of the cards would be printed in cold foil on front and back. Hopefully we will not go into a gold gilded. Then again, we don't have a Red Gilded either. I am much prefer foil on the cards rather than gilding.

That said, the gilding on the Hello Tiki v3 Ulta Red gilded was amazing with the gilding and full bleed foil. Watching the silver gilding shift to red foil and back never gets old for me.
