Eric Church, Heart and Soul Playing Cards by Kings Wild

So I don’t know if anyone here has heard of Eric Church, he’s a pretty popular country music singer that I enjoy listening to. Anyway, on his website I noticed he has a couple decks of cards that were released alongside his latest 2 albums, Heart, and Soul. I really wasn’t expecting much out of them, but then I noticed they were designed by Kings Wild. They look pretty cool IMO, but they seem pretty expensive at $30 for what they are. They don’t seem to have any foil or embossing from what I can tell. The page really doesn’t give much info for them, except they are printed by USPCC. There doesn’t seem to be any promotion of any kind for them, and the only place I could find to buy them is Eric Church’s website. I thought it was interesting though, that Kings Wild had designed a couple decks for one of my favorite singers. I might get a pair just for the novelty of it.

Jackson mentioned these on a recent livestream and said he would be releasing a white version on his site at some point. I think he said they would be cheaper, but don't quote me on that.

Great promo for both of them. He’ll snag a few more new folks to the KWP and the hobby with this collab. But $70 shipped domestic for the pair is a bit stout even for a fan/collector. I’ll wait this one out.

That’s the problem with all this branded stuff today. Just because Church’s name is on it, they think they can slap on an extra $15 a deck. I went ahead and bought a set, but I gladly would have bought more if they were a little cheaper.

Not just that but you will probably see the same thing that people did with the aesop orbits, everyone ran to order from aesop and they're not in the business of selling cards so they just threw them in envelopes and most people had decks arrived damaged whereas if you wait for kwp sounds like not only cheaper, but you know you're likely to get them undamaged

Well, if you wait for KWP, then you'll be getting a different deck, so it's a little different here. Still, I agree with your point.

I just got my decks today! You were right about the packaging. My decks were just sitting in the box, no padding at all. Luckily all mine are fine, but that definitely is a problem.

JEEZ! No doubt that sucks. Sorry, your decks arrived like that. I think I stressed at least 50 times how important overpacking was with how crazy we all are.

Side Note: I will be coming out with a cheaper version probably next month, that will also be packed as you expect and want.

Yeah, it wasn’t too big of a problem for me since mine weren’t damaged, but it was definitely worrying seeing that. I’m sure some people wouldn’t be as lucky as I was.

I’m happy to hear about another version sold by you! I’ll be looking for it. I really liked the tuck box for the decks I got.

I ordered one of each, packaging was the same (same box too it looks like), decks were undamaged luckly.

Thanks for the update. The & actually goes with the albums too, there was 3, Heart, &, Soul. & was exclusive to Church’s fan club. All the colors match as well.

Well the email probably doesn't arrive exactly on time, so that's your problem. I just sit on the member's page and click refresh until the show up. I would never trust an email to remind me in time.

you are 100% correct I will say up front that I dont pay attention to release times anymore as a majority of them are like midnight central/pacific with for someone on the eeast coast, thats like 2-3am, so that is totally on me.
