Got my signature deck yesterday, which I didn't even remember ordering 1 year ago lol. Looks GREAT in person! The subtle paisley background on the tuck is outstanding.

My tracking number hasn't been updated since December 23 while still in Greece. Hopefully it'll be around this week. I'll just continue being on the lookout everyday.

A user on the Kickstarter comment page listed out a bunch of negatives, which Lotrk did address. Looks like a lot of campaign promises were not kept, unfortunately.

Re: "CHARMERS" playing cards by Lotrek and Kellar O' Neil
And that's the perfect response from Mr. Lotrek. I actually didn't mind the review at all.
Lotrek acknowledged corrections where made, rectifying them and moved forward. I didn't notice the numering on the brick box until after I went through the updates.
Which by-the-way are only 140 to exists... HELLO!! Can you say collectors item..
And a great way to sum it up was with him mentioning that JT concerns were taken seriously and will be considered the next time. This is why I continue to support our fellow friend & artist Lotrek.. He's ALWAYS looking to go the extra mile even breaking his own boundaries most times...
I think new collectors forget what a "signature edition" deck actually means..
Keep up the good work sir,
KW

Re: "CHARMERS" playing cards by Lotrek and Kellar O' Neil
Yeah, I'm in no way was speaking ill of Lotrek. I got my brick and Signature editions today. I posted this mainly due to the fact that I ordered these a long time ago and, frankly, forgot what to expect from such a robust campaign. Seeing the missed expectations listed out like that was helpful, as well as Lotrek's response...mostly. An update on the KS campaign itself when these decisions were made would have been nice.

Agreed. It's just that these decisions were made under huge time pressure and were literally moment's decisions.aardvarkgod wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 6:04 pm An update on the KS campaign itself when these decisions were made would have been nice.

A large box arrived from Greece (with a whole corner smashed in). The extra packaging was necessary and did the job of protecting the items. So, here are some photos!
And the rarest of the series, with 140 decks...
For the record, that is 40 decks in total. (13x3) + 1
Don't ask me how they handle and such. They are unopened...of course.

You bought all those extras, only to not open *any*?
Sigh.
I'll open mine soon, and I'll post pictures. Because, really.

Re: "CHARMERS" playing cards by Lotrek and Kellar O' Neil
Befouling one of those bricks by opening one each of the three variants would be a crime. I would have added an extra three decks to open, but the extra cost was almost as bad as just adding another brick (kinda). My average cost for the decks in the three bricks (including the bonus gold decks) was only $12. I was able to get a 2 brick EB special, plus an additional add-on brick.

Lotrek should make a list of tuckists and just send them blocks of wood in their tuckboxes

Any knowledge whether these will be available for resale in Europe? I mean other than private sellers.

I received my purple and green gilded decks today and I got the KS rewards earlier this week. So, I think I have the complete set of 7 decks now.

Re: "CHARMERS" playing cards by Lotrek and Kellar O' Neil
I'm sure that gilding with cold foil would look amazing but for now I'll just stick with the normal green and purple.
I haven't played with the Signature deck yet. I like how it looks. I think the normal red and gilded red suppose to be the same stock. I'm so over gilding so who knows what I'll do with it.

^Nah it doesn't do it. I don't know if most gilding fades overtime. Bicycle 2011 Bape Edition is the oldest gilded deck I have. It still shines but see the gilding fading.

Has anyone from Canada had their bricks come in yet? I know that Canada Post is incredibly slow at the moment, but just seeing if there are others in a different part of the country who have gotten theirs already.

Looks like I will have to hold out hope then that customs wanted a closer look at how beautiful the cards were and they got stuck there for a while. Fingers crossed they show up at some point.

Nice numbers Jykewei. Dang, at $265 each, that is some serious stuff. I think I will just stay at the original Kickstarter release. That said, the box does look nice, so they will make nice display pieces.

Brad, they are not mine. It is one of the images that came with the email informing us the availability. I just think this image is interesting because it does look like Lotrek’s writing and for him, anything with quantity “50” would be considered highly collectible. On the other hand, the Southern Charmer, not as much.

Grabbed one, I am a sucker for the engraved. I do consider it a Lotrek deck since it's using the Signature cards which was designed and produced by Lotrek.
