Shogun (Nurul) commented on Lorenzo's IG post that it should be called the 1/8th master instead of Quartermaster mini :) Dinghy is a perfect fit as well!

well, another way to call one-eighth is "one bit" (remember the tune "Shave and a haircut, two bits", which goes back to the days when the Spanish 8 reals, so people would cut up the coin into 4 or 8 pieces for small transactions) so, Bitmaster could sort of work. Unfortunately, in today's world, the term bit is totally different than it was in 1776  .

In fact, it's the first one since Stories (that I still have not received).
oh! thank you :)
very glad to read that.
What is Stories?

A project by Vanda that they still have not fulfilled...

I updated my pledge for this thing yesterday, since you released the 6-deck box. $400? Damn.

I just know that I would forever regret dropping my Intrepid pledge. It would be such a pain to acquire the exclusive stuff in the aftermarket.
I've spent way more than I care to admit on playing cards, but I'll still buy just about anything that Lorenzo, Jackson, or Gio make.

I get it about going just for the cards. I am getting....a few...yeah...a few. ;)

I noticed that there are now over 2000 backers! Awesome. :ugdance:

I hope none of those are multiple accounts. I am being a good boy and not using my other three Kickstarter accounts to get multiple signature decks. I am trying to comply with Lorenzo's preference to limit this to one deck per person. Even if he acknowledges he can''t stop it, it seems poor of me to grab more than one even if I can.

Tom

It used to be two accounts, and then I ended up with four due to the final Apothecary Kickstarter campaign. I seem to recall I needed extra accounts because I couldn't stack limited tiers. I don't think I have used those other two aside from that campaign.

For reference....my campaign haul from all four accounts.

Lol... cheating 😂. But getting multiples on the aftermarket is better?
Creators almost beg for multiple kickstarter, patreon and whatnot accounts.
Would be cool if we could cut the shenanigans and just allow people to get as many as they want. But I guess that's too much of a kick into the balls of that guy called artificial scarcity hype...

It seems that you unfortunately did. The window was from 4am EST to 4pm EST on May 27. I think you may have thought it was from 4pm to 4am like many others that missed out on it.

Not only is it doable, Kickstarte explicitly states it is NOT against their T&Cs. I have myself used a second KS account for those projects where they didn't have the right tiers, but have never done it to try to chase scarcity related to one per account. Not like Kickstarter cares about anything but lining their pockets with more money.

For those who may have missed it, Lorenzeo is currently doing a patreon only auction for one full set of the 2020 patreon king tier rewards which includes the framed quartermaster edition of EOTO. Auction runs for another ~16h.
