Hanson-Chien printed but has Cartamundi courts and corner indices? Kinda weird how that works.
Why is that weird? It's Hanson Chien, a guy who just copies everyone else's stuff and thinks its OK
I was assuming it was a design choice by the creator, but yes that's just about right as well
Wonder if Cartmundi courts are copyrighted?

Hi, just to answer any questions.
The cards are designed by us as Rcards and printed by Hanson Chien.
When we were supplied the copag files form Cartamundi we were not informed of any usage limitations. Now these have come to light and been confirmed, we have made the decision to swap these to Arrco faces which have been purchased for use.
I recently had the pleasure of talking with RCards about the design decision that stands out like a pink elephant on the r/playingcards discord. Personally, I really enjoy this take on the standard courts. its not a recolor, I would actually consider these fully custom and inspired by at teh very least.
8:52 AM] macstrat: Out of curosity: what made you choose the blackletter on top of standard courts Instead of custom courts?
[8:59 AM] Rcards: This is where the whole decks stemmed from. I had an idea of a deck where every card was covered by some kind of black out.
Many drafts and months later this is where it ended up.
I really enjoy the contrast of the bold lettering with the delicate courts
