Imperium Playing Cards by Kelly McMahon (KS)

Unread post by DiminishedSeventh »

Enter the world of Imperium, a fantasy realm ruled by powerful women from four nations. Despite their differences, their stories are woven together by fate, connected by invisible strings, pulled by the world's jokers. Is it all just a game to them, or something more?

Imperium is a deck of 54 playing cards featuring a world of matriarchs. Each suit is ruled by a trio of leading ladies and accompanied by an elegant set of number cards.

I really like the courts in this deck! After speaking with the creator, the back design will be altered to a two-way design. It appears that USPCC printing will be added as a stretch goal.

There is also a companion book for the deck. Details below:

Nice design.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

I like these a lot. But $27, shipped for 1 deck? Nope. That shipping is a killer.

Yeah you’re absolutely right. I believe these were planned to be shipped from Australia and it seems they have raised their shipping prices lately even more than the US. I did talk with the creator about possibly having a split fulfillment for North America and the rest of the world if it does end up getting printed with USPCC. We’ll see what happens.
