Thanks Decknowledgy for posting that gif. Wow. I am really stoked for this one. I didn't see that Instagram post.
Why didn't I get a few more of these...

I won't lie, I'm even more excited about Unbroken than theseBikefanatic wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 5:24 pm I thought this was the Unbroken deck. Well I guess coming up soon.
Absolutely fair, there were some unexpected bumps along the way that caused some delays.
If you got a 5 pack (or 6 pack if you ordered early) then yeah for sure. Not guaranteed for anything that breaks a full set though.
let me rephrase that statementIAmTheChin wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 9:35 pm there were some unexpected bumps along the way that caused some delays.
Art of Play already has the boxes and decks and are assembling. They will also be fulfilling rather than myself this time in an effort to ensure a speedier delivery. With the exception of UK deliveries I don't forsee shipments going past end of March.
We wanted to update you all on the status for the latest on the 2020 NPCCD decks. Production of all items were finished earlier this year and given to an established assembly/fulfillment group specializing in cards. We had estimated that they would begin shipping this past week. Unfortunately we were given the news a couple days ago at a month check in that they were unable to do the project due to the box complexity after various attempts. This was disappointing for us to hear especially and painful for us to share with you guys as well who have been waiting so patiently.
The good news however is that we have reached out to the amazing people at @gamblerswarehouseofficial and they have already tested and approved the ability to take on this complex projectAll items are already in transit to them and we are so grateful for their expertise. The estimated completion of full project assembly given has been 2-3 weeks in which afterwards the decks will immediately go out from that location direct to you all to make up for lost time.
Side news: UNBROKEN will finally be fulfilled end of this month! Some hiccups on making these were figured out so it is now ready for scale as well. ITADAKIMASU is officially set up for a summer launch. And finally a secret that we've been holding and working on for a while will be made later this month.
To be clear, I did not find out about this problem until a few days ago. AoP received the first batch of cards mid Feb and confirmed receiving box materials to start the project late February. I sent over the second batch of remaining gilded decks to them half way through March. At no point was there any indication from them that the project had been dropped. I believe the month long time cost was them testing different methods and vendors and eventually realized they could not fulfill on their end. I did wait a few days from when I received notice to now because I wanted to make sure a solution was in place before giving an update but have been fully transparent throughout this entire process whenever there was any news available to myself to provide to you guys.
Regarding the newsletter I was testing sending them out in small batches every couple hours to avoid the Gmail promotions tab as that's been a big email problem starting to pop up. This was the wrong time to do side testing on how to fix that and should have just done a normal send out. Every purchaser should receive one in the next hour (if you don't check your promotions tab or spam folder).
Again to be clear, this was not a choice so I'm not sure what the joke is. AoP held the project for a month and then gave it back with no warning. They are great but made a crucial overestimation on their end in which we ended up paying the consequences. Gambler's received and tested a sample and gave back immediate responses eventually confirming to take on the project which I then was able to update you guys with. This is the kind of communication needed to make this project go through so I'm happy that they are taking it on and feel confident in their ability to assemble these. In this scenario they are literally picking up not just the slack but the entire project that AoP dropped.
I got an email update. Judging by this post ~4 hours later
Maybe the joke is AoP not testing a sample and giving a heads up that they cannot execute the project. I'd expect AoP to at least communicate to you that hey, we tried a sample but hit a road block and trying different technique or whatever. Did they communicate this at least? Of course AoP screwed up but if they did not attempt on a sample and not communicate early and waited for a month to eventually give is even terrible. I'd have followed up suspecting that AoP is probably screwing up. IDK, of course AoP's mistake and not your on this mishap.IAmTheChin wrote: ↑Fri Apr 02, 2021 3:56 pmGambler's received and tested a sample and gave back immediate responses eventually confirming to take on the project which I then was able to update you guys with.
