Horsemen
So I have been working on this deck with an artist for around six months. The faces are complete while the backs / tucks are still a WIP. I have already bored many of you this deck already, but thought I would post it here to get a general overall vibe of what people think. Suggestions / criticsm always welcome.
Decks being printed LPCC/Taiwan (so the same as Stone Garden and Kodiak).
Thanks for taking the time to look.

I hate the back design...
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash thatβs being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

Re: Horsemen
Ace Collectible Cards (?) did a Horsemen deck. Not bad but please vary the weathering. My pet peeve is repeating weathering.
Move on, nothing to see here.

Re: Horsemen
I had the same comment from Nicolai Aaroe. Its a very good point well made and something I will certainly address. I had not seen that other deck so thanks for mentioning it, I did do a fair bit of research but for some reason it never hit my radar?
My deck goes in a very different direction from the king courts. Its more related to the concepts of famine, war, pestilence and death. So hopefully different enough for collectors to at least contemplate backing another deck.
Cheers

Re: Horsemen
Small update...
The cards and tuck are with Cartamundi... The Coin & Stickers are also being priced ready... I took the bold move to pay for set up before trying to fund them, just to make sure I can turn them around quickly.
Pictured above is the standard decks with the alternate tuck. The alternate deck is basically pictures I have already shown. All artwork was originally drawn in pencil and then coloured using PS before preparing the colour profile etc in AI.
Feel free to join me on instagram for updates @justplaycards https://www.instagram.com/justplaycards/
Still plenty of time for tweaks so feel free to share your advice.

Re: Horsemen
I know how much you hate when I say, I like what I see . Fingers crossed for the campaign (not that you'd need it), break a leg.
P.S.: Coins are shite - the majority has no clue what they're talking about .

Re: Horsemen
Thank you for the support. I left the coin decision open as I liked both. 90% chose the two tone, including that guy in Sweden.

Re: Horsemen
The guy in Sweden never did bi-colour coins - actions speak louder than words .
