The latest news I am aware of from Patreon is that he is still waiting on some of the pieces, most notably for the story being written to either get finished or be further along. I think he is also still sourcing and finalizing the journal for the campaign (which is going to be a real treat). I think he is even considering having the contraption (I forget it's name right now) being built. I can't imagine the cost, so expect it to be too crazy for me.

Lorenzo has been auctioning off some interesting extras and unique stuff to his Patreon members. His latest is some things from his earlier works. Last I looked this morning the high bid was $450. The prices he is getting are...astonishing. I am glad for him though. It is exciting to see the interest in his work.

I can't imagine he would actually build it. I think he mentioned once that the cost would be in the tens of thousands to produce.
I've spent way more than I care to admit on playing cards, but I'll still buy just about anything that Lorenzo, Jackson, or Gio make.

While I do like the Patreon backer deck "Quartermaster" deck, the tucks for Kickstarter are really much better. I am sure those that like the Quartermaster deck will be much more excited with these final designed tucks. As typical with Lorenzo, there will be a lot of details to unpack with these new tuck designs. Also, there will be a few Quartermaster decks that will be in some limited tiers on Kickstarter, so for those that missed it, there will be an opportunity to get one during the Kickstarter campaign.

I'm going to hold out for the "shipping container of the case-o-bricks" option. As if storage wasn't already a problem for me!

C'mon Bradius, you're pledging for the "cargo ship full of bricks" choice. Since it's Eye of the Ocean deck it makes perfect sense.
Move on, nothing to see here.

Or, you could be a Patreon backer of Lorenzo last year, and be able to get some well-deserved sleep! :D

Except I hope I can snag an Intrepid tier. I am not sure the price tag will discourage enough of the rabid Lorenzo fanatics anymore. The fanatic crowed is getting...well...crowded these days.

It wouldn't bother me too much, but I often can't even get the page to show up until sometimes 10 minutes after it goes live.

Is there a way to get a direct link automatically when it goes live? Perhaps a direct link will work.

It does seem to be slow to show up when searching directly for it. I have better luck by finding a previous project by the creator and then go to the list of their projects.

Hey Brad, Its the same link. It will become the page when live. You can sit there refreshing it if you want to be first. But save some decks for the rest of us

You could also go here: https://www.kickstarter.com/profile/req ... ds/created and refresh the page until the 8th project, Eye of the Ocean, appears.

Does anyone know the time and date this goes live (for non-patreons)?

Lorenzo doesn't have a specific date yet. There are still a couple of things that need to get completed first. I think once they are ready, then the countdown begins.

It'd be a cool feature to have, I'll grant you that. This forum doesn't exactly run on the latest and greatest software, so it has its limitations. Some upgrades would be nice...
