NAABI Playing Cards- looking for feedback and criticism
Hello everyone! I'm currently in the process of designing a deck to be launched on Kickstarter. To give you some context, the deck is called naabi, the Korean word for butterfly. It's inspired by the fast-paced, high-flying vibes in the city of Seoul, Korea where I grew up. The white text on the back is butterfly written in traditional Korean script. I've attached some images for you guys to give me feedback on, and whether you'd back it or not- any constructive criticism is appreciated, so I can make changes if needed. Thanks a bunch!

I like the vibrant colours of the tuck a lot.
If you aren't Korean the theme doesn't come across very much though, to say it the least.
Since Naabi is Korean anyways why not having it in Hangeul on the tuck? I would like that a lot. A roman letter transalation only makes sense to me when I understand the word after reading it.
I would suggest that at least the jokers/extra cards have some butterfly imagery/vibes on them.
I am not a fan of the minimalist apprach to the courts in general. Are the courts repeating or are the individual to every suit?

You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash thatโs being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

Thanks for the feedback! What you said definitely makes sense. The top right photo shows the back of the tuck with the text in Korean- Iโm guessing you mean youโd prefer it on the front of the tuck. What kind of design would you prefer for the court cards, if you had a preference?

Sorry for the confusion. Nah, I meant not like hand written like on the back but in a typeface/font like on the front. Maybe even on top-to-bottom on the left side of the tuck as opposed to the horizontal orientation.
For courts I almost always prefer figure/people courts (or like Snokey Bear real animals if it fits the theme). Abstract courts almost never chime me in to get a deck. I would be able to ignore them if the back and tuck are awesome but yah, liking not really.
Keep in mind that these are just personal preferences and spitballin' ideas. If you do love the minimalist/abstract approach, then of course go with it.
