Have you ever paid attention to the details of classical playing cards? Regalia is a fully illustraded deck of cards where those details are brought to the next level. Finally we see where the King of Hearts is actually sticking his sword!

Regalia includes a matt laminated tuckbox (cello wrapping inside), 52 bridge sized (56mm x 87mm) standard cards and 4 jokers (one extra, how cool!). The cards are printed on smooth and opaque 305gsm Heretic Playing Card Board (medium stiffness).
A Finnish designed custom deck?! And it actually looks awesome?!?

I have waited this day to come for a few years now! Ihanaa saatana!

You can buy them from here for 16 € per deck. I bought two decks. No idea what the shipping costs are, didn't have to pay any, so figure that out yourself you plebs :ugthink:

You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

I prefer poker size cards as well but I have stopped caring about the card size when it comes to these kinds of small releases or vintage decks.

The artist seems to be pretty known even internationally and has produced some graphics for Rovio's Angry Birds for example :)

I contacted the designer and learned that this is the third print run of the deck and the edition size is 300. They were printed by Ivory Graphics in UK. Previous print runs had light blue (200 pcs.) and dark blue (300 pcs.) backs. She has been developing some ideas for her next deck, so maybe we will see something interesting in the future!

Received the decks a while back already, they are pretty damn great. I did get an extra deck that I left unopened, I'll see what I'll do with that one
