My thoughts on these are somewhat graphic in nature, so I'll put them in a dark font. Highlight to read at your own discretion.
These cards makes me want to rip out my eyeballs, eat them and then vomit them back up.

It is always a pleasure to list every KS projects, especially the ugly ones hehehehe
Re: Brite Neon Deck now live on Kickstarter -You will be bli
Only $20 per deck for all the ugly decks I could possible want and not made by USPCC? Wow can I buy them all?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I find it compelling how low the bar can be set. This must have set a new record.
This deck is so bad, it almost makes me want to pledge actually get one.... pity [or not] that it's US only.
Mr Mock's comments on his previous KS project (an interactive chess board which failed a year ago having only found $37 in pledges from a $2000 goal) - in which he was asking for money for software licenses to attempt to design a working model - are an interesting/strange monologue on KS, raising money, and an obvious lack of awareness/focus.

Re: Brite Neon Deck now live on Kickstarter -You will be bli
I could actually use these for a number of card tricks I do. I can add a lot of patter with a crazy deck, especially one as ugly as this. I have specific tricks designed for a certain type of cards, mostly I use the Artifice as it has a classy look or standard bikes as that is what everyone knows but I have some that I like to do with off decks. I would need to keep this deck separated from my collection to avoid contamination. Anyway, at twenty bucks I will pass. How did they come up that figure. Didn't they think it might piss off the public.

There is actually something to admire here, in just how horribly mismatched the colours are and how busy the layout is. That crazy tessellated background on the courts? Stroke of genius, right there. The yeti monster that they decided to use instead of the King of Clubs - amazing. The insane choice to make the King of Hearts an alterate version of Shakespeare, one who suffers microcephaly - brilliant.
Throw in the almost unbelievable bargain prices and diverse shipping destinations, and this is a winning combination. Watch out Jackson, the KS record might not be with you for long...
I genuinely believe that if, prior to seeing this deck, I had set out to make an intentionally terrible deck, it would not have been as hard to look at as this one right here. In saying that, I try to never be too harsh, so I will say this: Mr. Mock has designed a deck of cards, which is more than I have done. Good on him, and I do hope he finds success.

Just a bit of warning...do NOT turn on a blacklight when using them. Your skin will burst into flames.

Re: Relaunch of the Brite Neon Deck on KS - Get those sungla
I absolutely love the IDEA of this deck (lived in Vegas for many years and miss the lights) but this deck is just plain awful. And as much as I want to see it done right by one of the excellent designers that I've learned about on this forum, I'm afraid it will possibly never happen because this one has ruined the theme. I really hate to sound overly critical or just plain mean, but I really don't know how the creator of these can possibly think they look good. Just learning how to play around in photoshop doesn't suddenly equal being a great designer, whether or not it is good fun.

Bizarre. Does he just want to have the badge of having something successfully funded on his profile?badpete69 wrote:I just noticed the $100 goal hehehehehe set the bar low I guess
Re: Relaunch of the Brite Neon Deck on KS - Get those sungla
Well this was funded by 8 backers at a grand total of $315, not sure who would print so few decks, but I'm guessing its going to be shit quality, lol
