Bicycle Robot by Penguin

Unread post by Reylek »

Hey everyone. I can't believe February is here already. Crazy!

We just dropped a fun new deck over at Penguin - Bicycle Robot. This is a 100% custom deck. This is our first collaboration with first-time deck designer Douglas Fuchs, who is super talented. You'll see more from him in the future!

In addition to the standard version of the deck, we have a silver gilded option, limited to 300 decks. The silver gilded have individually-numbered seals.

The standard are expected to arrive at our warehouse in about a week. Unfortunately things at the Gilders have been backed up for quite some time, so there will be a bit of a wait on those, but they'll be well worth it!

Hope you all enjoy!

I rather like these! I think I'm going to have to add these to my upcoming big Penguin haul.

Thanks Vasta, glad you like them!

I know courts are a big part of any deck for a lot of the folks here, so here's a look at all 12 of them.

Still $30 to ship to Canada which is like $20 more than i'd like to pay especially when it takes like a month or longer to get here, please fix this already and give us more shipping options, there's plenty for Americans but only one for international. Also why always the preorder? Why not just release them when you have them?

Hey Victor. Unfortunately I don't personally have access to the shipping systems, but I do know that postal costs have continued to rise, particularly in terms of international shipping. That said, as with our past decks, if you reach out to the customer service team they can either put in an order manually for you, or they can figure out the actual cost of shipping once your order has been sent and refund you the difference, if any. What'd we'd all like to pay versus what the shipping services actually charge are very different things.

This will be a very short preorder. We expect the cards in about a week. Most, if not all, of our deck releases for the rest of the year will be direct release, no preorder. The exception will be the gilded editions, which take a lot of extra time beyond the standard versions.

I buy retail decks almost exclusively from Penguin Magic and just queue up $50 or more to get free shipping to Canada. Absolutely the best deal anywhere.

Nice whimsical deck, haha. The tuck is a bit to TXI Star Wars but maybe it's just me seeing that. The number cards/custom pips aren't really my cup of tea either.
Nonetheless cute and a solid deck.

Free shipping international makes it easy to go for it. Not sure why you wouldn't want to just make a bigger order? They have a huge selection and decent prices.
