portcullis, sure, I don't mind parting with one of my mini-decks. However, you might wait a bit and Lorenzo might have some extras on his shopify site.

I always thought the ultimate variant would be a lot smaller but it's freakin huge! Like 4x bigger than the gatekeeper

Re: Keymaster Tarot (House of the Rising Spade) by Stockholm17
Not sure if this is true for everyone, but for me the cello on the Superior deck has split. It's not catastrophic. There doesn't appear to be any box damage.
Edit: the Superior Ed. is fine, on further inspection, shrink wrap has split in a couple of corners along the seam. As I said it's not catastrophic. Probably happened in transit. No biggie.
Ultimate Ed. is /55 btw

As for the card display, how am I suppose to connect these pieces together?

Take the end with all of the cutouts and stick it through the wider slot from the front. The solid black piece should stick out to rest the cards on.
I've spent way more than I care to admit on playing cards, but I'll still buy just about anything that Lorenzo, Jackson, or Gio make.

Here is how it should look assembled:
Just for grins I took a photo of the card under a black light. The white areas really pop, which doesn't show so well in the low res photo. It looks cool.

Will that stand hold the weight of the deck?
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.

It can hold the weight of the deck, but the lip can't hold the depth of the entire deck. About half of the tarot deck could rest on it

Re: Keymaster Tarot (House of the Rising Spade) by Stockholm17
The Keymaster Ultimate. A wonderful display piece. It was definitely not produced by USPCC. I don't think they would have any idea how to produce it. In the Kickstarter Campaign first update (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/re ... ts/2757845 Lorenzo notes that the cases will produced in Italy. Lorenzo also in the campaign thanked Simone Rasetti for producing the prototype. I assume he also handled the production, but am not certain without some more research. I assume it is the same person that handled the minatures for HotRS Gatekeeper minatures. Simone's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/simonerasetti3D/.
I hope that helps.

I guess I never looked at mine too closely. Are the figure and arch separate pieces that were joined together?

Re: Keymaster Tarot (House of the Rising Spade) by Stockholm17
Lol... seriously? Of course it's not done by USPCC - that was a joke because the Keymaster is misaligned like an USPCC printed deck.
I'm not so certain about a one-piece-construction. It doesn't look cracked or something at the bottom, just like it was tilted when figure and gate were glued together. It has some wiggle room as well; you can move the Keymaster a little bit. I'd place my bet on a two piece construction.

Looking closer at mine, I think it definitely is a two-piece construction. Mine is also off-center, though not nearly as much as yours.Harvonsgard wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 2:11 pm Lol... seriously? Okay. I see the off-center issue you describe based on your photos. I checked out my four ultimate cases and the "man" is centered perfectly. Lorenzo probably doesn't love you. That seems logical.

Nah, he adores me. He has chosen me to have the uber super duper rare special 1/1 secret Crooked Keymaster edition.
Evil Duncan is chosen, too. He has the prototype 1/1 slightly Crooked Keymaster.

Re: Keymaster Tarot (House of the Rising Spade) by Stockholm17
Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I finally opened up my Keymaster Ultimate this evening, and I noticed that the gilding has a couple of issues. The first is at the bottom of 3-4 cards, the gilding seems to have chipped/flaked away leaving a bare spot. The other, much more minor issue, is where where the cellophane has the tear strip, you can still see a line on the gilding once the cello is removed. I can post pictures if anyone is interested, but I'm not sure how many have opened these to even notice. Just kind of a bummer to find this late in the game, especially on such an amazing piece of art.

You are late, but I would check with Lorenzo before considering yourself out - if you are lucky he might still have one tucked away (I know he just sold two a few days back, so don’t get your hopes up too high, you might have missed it by a hair…)
