When ancient civilizations built the Seven Wonders of the World, the results were astonishing monuments possessing inimitable traits and admired by generations. Inspired by the traditions and ambitions of these diverse cultures, This project is designed to honor the world and spread intrigue, delight, and astonishment; just as each Wonder has done for centuries. The complete collection will eventually consist of seven visually stunning, hand-designed decks each attributed to a different Wonder of the World: The Pyramids (Egypt), The Great Wall (China), Machu Picchu (Peru), Chichen Itza (Mexico), The Colosseum (Italy), Petra (Jordan), and The Taj Mahal (India).
Designed by Derek McKee and Ben Zabin of Pure Imagination Projects (Les Melies, Cherry Casinos), we set out to create timeless depictions of iconic structures that will enhance any playing card collection. With hopes to capture the tremendous beauty of the Wonders of the World we decided on alluring, intricate, and eye-catching designs and colors to ensure that each deck will draw admiration and curiosity from all who view it.
Part One: The Pyramids
The first installation of the collection is The Pyramids- limited to 2500 decks. Ever since the monumental structures were erected in Ancient Egypt, their perennial reputation has sparked wonder throughout the ages- just like a deck of cards has the ability to do. In following suit of the ancient Egyptians, we took ample time to create a stunning, memorable, and distinctive portrayal of these legendary desert-bound monuments.

I really like everything I see. While I don't mind standard courts per se, I can't justify them for this deck. Pass.

I can't stand this new trend to randomly drop certain vowels from words. Do people think it's hip, cool, edgy? It's illiterate is what it is. Nothing else about this deck matters to me.

If we had an anti-thanks button on UC I'd click it right now.

There’s a Wonder deck already and it’s better IMO

Could be worse, at least they don't just put a Z at the end to make it cooler. That's like the lamest thing to do

I love the backs and the tuck, but standard courts? C'mon, man.

Re: WONDR: The Pyramids by Pure Imagination [KS]
Riffle Shuffle and OPC have shown more imagination with their courts than PIP. Sad though, they started out so well. When USPCC Bicycle can come up with better courts designs than you, you've got a problem when you're charging $15. Plus even Mark Stutzman's penguin deck had markings.
