When I first seen the post, the picture of the deck wasn't there. I didn't ask "where's the picture of the deck?" Second he's trying to sell the deck in the wrong thread section.

The tuck looks interesting, I actually want to see the backs and the courts.

I haven't discussed this with the other mods, but personally I don't mind this as long as it's actually a new deck that doesn't already have a thread, and includes a picture.

If it bothers a lot of people we can of course discuss guidelines, alternatives etc :)

For anyone who doesn't know, the 52andJokers is Dave Hofmeister who has had an ebay shop for (mostly USPCC) decks since like forever.

Regardless, of forum etiquette, I am sold on the deck just from the tuck. Something about the red and gold tuck has me sold. I just placed an order with Dave.

Because it's a new deck it doesn't bother me that it's here. That said, rather the price was listed in the post instead of asking for a DM...and maybe direct people to a sale thread in buy and sell?

He found a new deck, posted about it, and let us all know how to get it. No problem here whatsoever; in fact I wish more people did this. I'm looking at you, JAY! Share your USPCC connections! hehe

I find too, that Dave did choose the right format & etiquette.
Yes, he advertised that you can purchase this deck from him but since he didn't mentioned details like price and such it stayed a formal post about a new deck release.
At the end of the day, is there a difference if I share a kickstarter/etsy/eBay link or if someone say you can have the deck directly from her/him?

@Dave - Some more pictures of the cards and all would have been nice though. To wet the appetit 🤤 - ya know.

So the only way to buy this is to PM him, or is it in his ebay store? I could not find him.

In the past he's offered deck here for a few days, a dollar or two less, then puts them up on ebay.

I like metalluxe and cold foil more but I see gilded decks are a higher cost.

I'm getting this deck wherever and hopefully they'll make a blue and silver version next.

wish they would have done the fronts as well like they did with the Royal Bee. That was beautiful. Imagine the red foil on the courts.

The funny thing is that USPCC is claiming that this Red deck is the first BEE deck to use the Metalluxe technology...obviously the person who wrote the ad copy is new as they don't seem to be aware of the Royal Bees that were printed in 2016 :? I wrote to them via IG, but haven't received a response.

Hey Jay, maybe you want to let your contacts at USPCC know about this. ;)

These Red Bee Metalluxe decks are available via Amazon.com (in the US, at least) and available for Prime shipping. I ordered a couple, and they arrived just recently.

I love them. They could certainly bee better, but I love them. The faces, although they don't have any foil going on, they do have at least a metallic gold ink going on with the faces, so that's nice. They don't fan quite as perfectly out of the box as most Bee decks do (or most metalluxe decks, for that matter), but they fan fine and the handle like a dream.

I've put these into my daily rotation. These have such a perfect feel, and I love the red foil look.

Now, bring on the teal metalluxe!

The ad card that comes with this deck says: "Due to the manual stamping process, there may be slight differences from one card to another."

For those who have this deck, how big an issue is this, and how noticeably different are the card backs? Obviously it can quickly become a marked deck if this is significant, making it unusable for card games.

Mine were pretty decent, didn't really notice any misalignment and the foiling was spot on. I got 2 in a pipbox.

I think since it's passing thru another machine (I assume) and they know their qc sucks, it's just saying "her, if we misstamp, this is why"

While I haven't scrutinized mine super closely, the deck I opened and have been using for regular game play with my kids has been perfectly fine and I haven't noticed any obvious problems with registration or alignment. I'm quite happy with this deck and its price point, and I hope they release more decks like this in their blue and green metalluxe colors, as well. Very happy with these.

It's very noticeable. I would not play poker with this deck. The minor differences also seem more easy to exploit by pros adding their own markings.

It's a shame because the color is amazing.
