I also thought this too. Depending on how many countries are featured plus if there's any duplicates, I don't know how gameplay will be because you can remember what card is which by remembering the flag.Meta Collector wrote: ↑Tue Dec 15, 2020 10:22 pm I think I’d really like an uncut sheet of this. But seems the deck would be impractical for most uses.
I'm not sure what the best part about Switzerland is but the flag is a big plus.
It's spelled "Irland" in German. But as the cheat sheet is supposed to be in English it is a typo. "Marocco" looks like a mix.
Except these are Maiden Backs so i'm pretty sure those rules don't apply anyway. Maidens were created to circumvent such rules, lol.george wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 11:45 am Slightly off topic, but this style reeks to me of the old Bill Merz "trace" decks.
The Winter Back and recent Tally Ho re-colors take it a step further and are putting colored/geometric designs underneath the white trademarked Old Fan Back design.
I'm of two minds. It's nice to see creativity go into designing despite these strict rules. However, I feel like there's a common feel/vibe to these designs, and I wonder if this will be a new/recurring theme we see in branded decks going forward.
I appreciate the compliment but Pierre is badpete. He's not around much anymore
