Not my cup of tea at all, but it will be interesting to see how well this campaign does. I've wondered if recent NOC editions have been successful (economically), so I'll be keeping an eye on this.
Not going to pick these up, but glad to see NOC branching out with some different ideas while remaining true to what made them well known. I'll be really interested to see how this is received.

Well, they aren't expensive to produce so...
Indeed an interest campaign to follow. I always wonder why people that have established businesses and fanbases come back to kickstarter? The extra in exposure seems to be worth the cut kickstarter takes?

This is the only logical reason. Kickstarter probably reaches a lot more people, and a much more diverse group of people, than they'd be able to reach on their own.
The tuck boxes do look nice, but the cards, as usual, are nothing special. Actually, they remind me of Joss paper, or ghost/spirit money, that Chinese burn as offerings to their ancestors so that they have money in the afterlife.

AHAHAHAH! Yes, now that you bring it up! I used to help my grandma fold these notes for the special events. Hey, the luxury NOCs now have another use! Hell notes AND playing cards at the same time! But that's pretty pricey unless the deceased was a playing card collector and/or gambler.

I can just see it now. Your grandpa's spirit comes back to haunt you because, "Of all the decks you chose to burn, you chose the Luxury NOCs? What? You didn't love me enough to burn a Legal Tender Holofoil or even Fed 52 v2? That's it, I'm haunting your ass till you give me a proper deck!" [MURRAY]

Hasn't Montenzi been doing this for a while now? Butterfly Playing Cards? What am I missing here? I don't understand the claim they are making...
For an EB with shipping, 3 decks are $51. Not bad. It's good they're already mentioning the gilded decks which at the moment, I'm not interested in. I probably don't want to pretend I'm playing with silver, bronze and golden bars

I am backing this up, because of.... all the metallic foils. Glitters always catch my eyes XD
Also, these NOCs are the first ones to have marking of Suit AND Value, oh I am so interested! As I predicted, this is more than that Fort NOCs
These aren’t the first fully marked NOCs. The first to do that were the V1 (Alex Pandrea) Signature Series. There have been a couple of others in the past few years also.

Oh yeah you are right. Did a quick search and yes, the Signature series has suit and value marking. But I don’t know how it looked like because I didn’t know about NOC till i heard of Fort NOCs

I thought it was a bit of a silly claim myself.
I guess they do stipulate ‘to the borders’ but then what is even their point?
I’m gonna start referring to Fillide as ‘the World’s first ever tree/girl hybrid themed deck that involves metallic inks printed on B9 stock’
Interesting scheme they used to push backers to higher tiers: the one-deck and two-deck tiers are randomized so backers can't choose what they want, forcing people to get at least three to guarantee the one they want.

Totally within their rights, all power to them but... that just feels shady to me.
If I had my pick, I'd take the Bronze. Foil accents on the card faces look nicest with that color.

I guess the semantic trick they apply is the "fully" as in one solid colour block - not detailed like the OG Oath or other only foil on the back decks.

Shame on me for haven’t got any single of Montezi’s decks, because his releases are always in the middle of many other projects X.X
Hey, gotta give Alex credit for a great marketing pitch for what is basically NOCs with foiled back in a detailed, embossed and fully foiled tuck. I must admit the tucks look great , and something I would consider if I was a tuckist.
I'll say he's even better than E as he's just pitching the same deck with different iterations . (metallic inks, foil decks, comic book heros ) Heck, his Fort NOCs and the Forest green NOC trailers were very good.
Eric, I have never been a NOC fan. I do consider myself a semi tuckist, and you are right, these really appeal to me. That foil is spectacular. I went in for an EB set, as the price seemed quite fair. I will give them a chance, thanks to Riffle Shuffle. They ran with this one when given the opportunity.
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.
I am really curious of the NOC marking of these Luxury collection.
One stated that it is the same as the NOC Signature v1. I curious on how to read the values

The only reason i am backing these, is becasue they are shiny.
Same here. I don't mind standard courts as long as they are different some type of way. All three decks are not just tuck swaps and some have different color pips. These are my first NOC decks. As for the marking system, I'm really not trying to figure it out.
