I did not budget enough in advance for what November/December card releases were going to do to me. But that's a problem for January-me to worry about.

Any early bird specials? Asking because the alarm clock wants to know if it's okay to take the day off. :)

Take a day off! :D No plans for early birds at this moment. If I add EB, they will be available 24 hours.

BTW, It's a retail-only campaign, so decks will not be available wholesale (Kickstarter/Montenzi exclusive). I am also planning to print as few decks as possible. To print decks in December, I'll submit an order in November! That's why I'll limit the number of available decks. Current plans - 300-500 decks each color.

I am not sure about a MINI deck. It's 50/50.

Your ad copy is more poetic than Marcel Marceau. Your evocative use of language is more delicious than the Donner Party. Your compelling descriptions are more enticing than Olsen's Book of Standard British Birds, the Expurgated Version. After I backed your project (which required no convincing,) I went back and read your project and luxuriated in the prose and the photos. Truly, a work of art worthy of the cards they were depicting!

@rousselle, thank you! You should know that this text is a collaboration effort! I always discuss my projects with the community, but this time @Decknowledgy and @KingfisherZero helped me with the presentation. And I love it! They helped me a lot as I was too busy working on the last design changes. :D

Great for our German friends, nothing changed for me unfortunately even though I live in EU (Slovenia).

Personally I could only justify 19USD shipping for three decks. 6 decks would already be 27USD.

Hmmm, even 19 sounds high now that I read it out loud :S damn

It's a reality but still very reasonable as three decks are $17 shipped to EU, six decks are $14.5, twelve decks are $12!!! Retail is going to be $15 + sh.

I always cover some shipping costs as backers pay less than they should ($300-$400 per project). This project is not an exception!

If your parcel is lost or cannot be tracked, what will you do? You will ask to send your decks again as you paid for them. Right? That's why I use more expensive shipping with tracking.
Without tracking, shipping is $13 from the US for three decks and $20 for six.

What's included: shipping to EU, taxes (19% VAT), shipping within a country, and handling (52Wonder service). While shipping within the EU is cheaper, the total cost is almost the same compared to GW's service. Rates for Germany are much better! That's why I'll adjust them.

I made some calculations before posting this update, and I still have to pay on top to deliver decks to EU backers.

p.s. Shipping to NZ is the cheapest! I can send up to 6 decks within the country for $2.45 (courier, next day delivery), 12 decks for maybe $4.

FINAL NUMBERS: 220-270 decks left on Kickstarter! I'll only print up to 100-120 decks each color for myself and my site on top of Kickstarter decks. But that's it!

Thanks to all backers! :D It was an experimental project. I am not going to print tons of decks anymore, but only to fulfill the rewards and have some for my site.

There will be exceptions, but the model I used for this project works perfectly for me. For the same reason, there will be more simple projects like this one.

I informed backers about all delays in Kickstarter updates. We are now in the middle of fulfillment. In short, Kickstarter delayed payment by three weeks, we lost time due to the Chinese New Year, and I had to reprint the Alpine Honey deck.

Fulfillment status:

NZ: finished a long time ago.
AU: shipped locally from Australia last week.
UK: will be finished in the next two days.
EU: we are trying to locate a box with 100 Alpine Honey decks  Orders to International (excluding EU) backers and without yellow decks shipped. We are now waiting for the remaining 100 decks.
US: maybe in the next 10 days.

Decks are available for pre-order on my site. Hopefully, we will find yellow decks. Otherwise, it is already sold out as I only have up to 100-120 decks each edition in stock

Received mine today, well packaged and two days (!!!!!) after receiving my tracking information. Curious as to why the Alpine Honey version says "Reprint" on the back of the tuck? None of the others do and as far as I can tell it's not a reprint of anything you have done before? Am I missing a deck from your collection? :)

Thank you! It was a local UK fulfillment by http://jacksandjokers.co.uk/

I reprinted this deck as the first colors were wrong. To avoid problems with editions, I added this to the box (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mo ... ts/3212849). Wrong decks will be destroyed anyway, but I did not want to risk. I still have 60 such decks in NZ but ... they are ugly so I am not going to sell them

KS updates about problems with the Yellow deck:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mo ... ts/3192622
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mo ... ts/3159337

p.s. 50% of EU/International fulfillment completed, and it looks like we found a box with 100 Alpine Honey decks ... in Belgium. Decks are in France now, and it's very interesting as Germany is the final destination. So, it's not over.

Thanks for the response, have to admit I missed those updates. Makes sense now, especially if any of those ultra-rare "mistakes" wind up in the wild somehow.

It will not make me happier! You cannot even imagine how wrong the first colors were! The current yellow is my favorite! BTW, I only printed 550-600 decks now vs. >1150 each last time, so No.7 Winter decks are still rare. If we find the box with 100 decks, I'll have just 90 Alpine Honey decks after fulfillment. + There are ~100 Classic UC2019 decks left (and only 50 in my US warehouse), so I am going to reserve some decks for bundles.

Ok, we finally found the box with Alpine Honey decks. But I received 70 vs. 100. Some decks were damaged (unboxing video posted in my KS update), so the remaining balance is 40-50 decks, and almost all of them should be put in new boxes and cello wrapped (August/September). :ucstar: I'll be using boxes from the first print run! :ucstar: It means that this deck will only be available in bundles with other No.7 decks (for new playing card collectors). US fulfillment - maybe this week. 50% of EU fulfillment - this week as we are waiting for yellow decks from the US to continue.
