Re: SHOGUN deck of playing cards
Very nice!
There's no way this should be Bicycle branded. It would completely ruin your current design aesthetic on the Tuck front!
Just a heads-up, I think you and Paul are using a similar background pattern (http://encarded.com/deco/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
It's funny how similar patterns could work nicely with 2 very different themed decks!
thanks, Randy

Re: SHOGUN deck of playing cards
Thanks Randy,
I agree about bicycle, that was exactly my concern. Arches are totally opposed to Japanese aesthetics.
The pattern I use is a very typical traditional Japanese pattern. Many patterns can be found almost identical throughout history in very different cultures.

Re: SHOGUN deck of playing cards
Very cool. I like how the back design looks very free flowing, feels 'open' compared to some of the tight intricate back designs...refreshing

Re: SHOGUN deck of playing cards
Japanese history and literature has plenty of queens, princesses, aristocratic ladies, and yes, courtesans and geishas. (Which were not the same thing.)
