Solstice never had its own thread?
Anyhow, new version coming up. Something for the holo foil lovers out there.

Well, it looks like the advent of foil application through EPCC has come at the right time to finally deliver the Winter Solstice. A nice conclusion to the first Subscription design that captured my interest in the project to begin with. It is a bit blinding though. I had best get my sunglasses on to enjoy the deck. 8-)

So much for Deck the Halls V2 that he mentioned with gold thread.
Move on, nothing to see here.

In checking KWP Subscription Schedule, it says October is Overbite (wrong, it is Haunted 8 v2). November is Beowolf (Wrong, my understanding and as noted above is Winter Solstice). December is A Christmas Carole (wrong, it was replaced with Winter Solstice that is now the November issue. Beowolf is set now to be the December Subscription. All this movement is confusing to the best of us. It would be nice if KWP could keep their list up to date as best as they know what is happening. I know they are busy, but keeping this stuff current on the website would really help us all out with one place to go for current information.

If you want to stay up to date there is no other way then checking Jackson's Wednesday weekly updates on his social media I guess.
The deck list in the footer of kingswildproject.com seems to be more maintained than the zendeck link.

That is the current state:

Quick question for those in the know:

I have the Spring and Autumnal Equinox decks, as well as the Summer Solstice deck, all limited editions. On the bottom of the Equinoxes, there's a sticker displaying the KWP logo, as well as their favorite bible verse, "Designed by Jackson Robinson", and info regarding the actual equinox of that year. My Solstice deck does not have such a sticker, it's just a bare bottom. Is that normal?

hmmmm, I wonder why they decided to omit the sticker... All of Jackson's decks typically have that information written on the bottom of the tuck.

Received mine today. So gorgeous. The holofoil is a delightful addition to the cards and especially the courts, turning them into something truly special.

In the footer of the KWP website is the KWP deck list which is a doc that containes all decks ever published by Jackson. There you'll find every info you need.

Quite possibly best looking use of holofoil I've seen to date. That's a pretty sharp looking frosty card back I see there.
TL:DR It's completely up to you.

I believe that this the the most appropriately fitting use of holofoil on any deck so far. It is as if this deck was made for this application. It is as Fes says, "frosty" and really helps to convey the theme. Is it me, or do Jackson's decks keep getting better? He just keeps outdoing himself. His decks give so much value for what you pay. This is a man on top of his game, and THE game for that matter. I wonder if it is going to get a holofoil gilded version housed in on of those fancy new book style boxes.
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.

I must agree with that. I'm absolutely unable to comprehend the level of quality, variety of styles and themes and the frequency of releasing decks. I think there's nobody nearly comparable with Jackson in that matter.

That tuck is so bland, the holo foil suppose to make up for it!?

1. Yes
2. Have you seen the rest of the series? Why is it only a problem 4 decks in?
3. Just wait for the Limited. There are pictures of the Equinox II and Solstice in this thread, they look a little less bland and so will Solstice II.

I'm not sure, but I'm making a presumption given other outings in the series, isn't the tuck case featured above the standard edition?

I know they have been making improvements in the process, including the finish. My best guess is it will be more like Robin Hood in handling and such. Hopefully we will have the deck in hand soon anyway.

There was a ‘behind the scenes’ video on the KWP Instagram today, they showed the LTD winter solstice. I’m a bit disappointed it woes the seems to have the same textured rope part like all the others in the series. It’s looks completely smooth like the VHS... apart from the ridged vertical lines on the bottom half. I have the LTD Solstice I and love the feel of that too textured section.
