Similar to the issue KWP had yesterday with his release this did not show up when I went to the main page showing the decks for sale. I had to click "View All" for it to show up.

Dear Patrons, No.17 Playing Cards are back, in black.

I worked in secret in February and invested some funds for the making of this variant of the no.17 playing cards in black. During the year I got many requests and I know it is a beloved series that brings us back in 2015.

Before I explain all the details of the release, let me introduce it

This is the 5th version of the series, counting V1 Cardlauncher edition (2014) by MPC, V2 Bicycle branded and V3 No.17 in white (2015) by USPCC, V4 No.17 Le Chat Rouge by EPCC (2015-2016).

This is not a limited edition and it might be reprinted.

You will notice a blend of the previous variants in both cards and tuckbox.

Ace of Spades from No.17 V2-V3
Custom court cards slightly revised.
Custom pips layout on number cards
Custom Jokers (same as Le Chat Rouge)
55th card: 17 of diamonds (same as Le Chat Rouge)
56th card: JACK-O card from No.17 V2-V3
Tuck-box in black with red metallic foil, embossing, inner foiled graphics with a chevron pattern.
No seal.

The Release:

It goes live on my online shop on Friday October 30, at 6pm CET (1pm EST).

There are two options:

1x Black17 for $17 plus shipping (970 available)
1x Black17 plus refill (in blank tuckbox) for $27 plus shipping (100 available)
No limits, no bricks and no bundles, very simple setup.

Were there any details on Patreon as to what the "slight" revisions to the court cards were? I'd be interested to know.

I only have the Bicycle branded so I thought the custom pip layouts might've been from Le Chat Rouge. Had to go back and look at it to remember V2 had 'em, too. 2015 feels like it was about fifty years ago.

Using a black Sharpie marker, he added mustaches to the Queens and eye-patches to the Kings. One of the Jacks is now wearing hand-drawn glasses, and another is holding a lit cigarette.

Ah, a ready-made of the Dadaist school! Truly Lorenzo is a man of culture. No doubt the full deck will command a king's ransom on the block at Sotheby's, but by a stroke of luck I was able to get my hands on an authorized, museum-grade reproduction of a single card:

I just received my black S17 decks. It looks great and like being able to add display decks with my order so I can open and enjoy them. No sharpie marked QoC though.

I bought the deck plus refill. I tried not to but I unwrapped the cello because it looks so much better without it than the glossiness from the cellophane. Since it doesn't have a seal, I still won't play with it, just the refill deck.
