Thanks for the very constructive feedback. We will certainly try to improve price, courts and aces in the future.Eric Lee wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 1:16 am The design is way too basic for the asking price. The design is what I would expect from USPCC Bicycle decks from 5 years ago with their usual JAB (Joker, Ace, Back) jobs. Even 2 years ago, USPCC has upped their game and put in some great theme decks for only $5.
Back is too bland, only very slightly tweaked courts. Aces are just as bland. With such a title, I was expecting so much more. The design reminds me of Arcadia's deck series. Take a look at that series on KS to see what can be done for 12 pounds and how you design a deck around a theme for that price.
I don't see anything similar to or as an analog to what you're describing. To me, it just looks like the start of some 'art deco-lite' design with an infinity symbol slapped on.We wanted to create the feeling of a magical temple from the past, with all its monumental entrances, intricate decorations and secret chambers surrounding the shrine of eternity in the heart of the card. That's why we chose to go for interlacing frames to convey dimensionality and mystery without giving you the feeling of an overloaded card back. In addition to that we added a modern color scheme and light effects to bring the magic into our time.
Thanks for the feedback, I can guarantee you that I definitely had the theme in mind while designing it, but maybe it didn’t come through as much as I hoped. I probably focused to much on not making the back overloaded. The next deck or Temple of Eternity 2.0 are going to have more details to fall in love with. I hope that is going to be more for you.aardvarkgod wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 3:58 pm I agree with the design being basic and, frankly, boring. Also, I'm not sure your theme is fully coming through.
