Fes wrote: Mon Aug 24, 2020 12:22 pm I agree with you that they are fun. I don't particularly care for the heart though. It's kinda mickey mouse eared looking, idk. Not as inventive as the spade and club while being not as sleek as the diamond. I like the diamond by the way, balance is never a bad thing in my opinion. I think you could do a lot better with the heart. Perhaps a less is more approach? I don't know but it's the downside in this set. The club is kookie and I love it haha. Spade is solid. yea, good stuff. :)
I agree with all of this.

Hey Fes, I really appreciate the feedback, but i love the Ace of hearts I think it is my favourite, I had played around a lot with it and liked that one the most. I shall look at it again, but think I will be unlikely to change it a lot, I hope that is a deal breaker for this deck?

Sorry for being at ends with your views as I normally agree with them solidly.

Thanks for your feedback I will still look at the Ace of hearts.

No one will hold it against you for going with what you like best in something you're doing. You asked for thoughts, you got some that's all. :P

Well Fes! Opinions only matter if they are in line with my own!! How dare you differ from me!

I am honestly very thankful for the feedback I was just saying I liked it in the same way you both said it was a bit much... I will take a look at it to see if it can be fixed, I think most things can be made better with more time. I will do some normal pips today and share them on here for you to have a look at.

I am always really thankful for your opinions they really do help to train me to know what is probably right and what is probably wrong...

I am a naughty designer ;)

Thanks for your time,

I like the Diamond, Spade and Club pips. I feel like a heart that is similar to the spade is best but I don't know. I mean they're pips, they can work fine by themselves but they shine when they're with their own kind. They're quite tribal and are prone to battle. Pips, naa, they're not gentle little things at all. (Really you gotta lay them out in a five, seven or nine set to get a solid feeling for what works best.) If you see how they behave when grouped together I think you'll have a better feeling for them and see which one inspires you to smile and include in your vision. :)

Given the diamonds are most normal I did not put them into a configuration but here is a look at a set of eights, minus the diamonds, I am now aware that's the one card number you didn't mention, whoopssss, but I think it works anyway, what do you think??

I think they look really clean, we may go with an alternate configuration for the official release as this is meant to be a really fun deck.

Thanks for your feedback all,

I think that they look great. Good choice for a heart pip in my opinion. Hopefully some other folks will chime in and say what they think. I believe these pips have a broad appeal.

Hello there I have been working on some internal tuck designs as that is the main thing we have had people ask for in our decks because it seems to make it look more premium, I have started on the inside of the Seers V0 tuck, I shall post that one below here and hope to get some feedback. This deck has been really fun to work on and I hope it will attract some attention for not being too serious and for having some fun with our usual eye motif...

Anyway, thank you all so far with your feedback it has been really vital to this deck.

Here is the tuck inside:
tuck inside.png
So as you can see it features a similar style to the back design and I planned to fill the whole tuck with this similar minimal abstract style of design around the whole of the inside of the tuck, I think it will allow for the internal viewing to really be enhanced when you have ripped the box to shreds and been able to view the whole inside. Seriously though I just think it will add to the overall feel of the tuck box and make it feel like a more quality product. The 'return to roots' is in reference to it being inspired by our first designs back when it was four people: Saxon, Rae, Klein and me. I think it was fitting and should make for a nice throwback for them.

Aside from that, what are your thoughts?

Thanks for your time and for reading,

Jason
