I'm slowly not becoming a fan any more since he put out backwards tuck look and the metalluxe went down hill since the rose gold deck.

I don't know at what point the color mix gets to be too much. This one is a classic enough design that I'll keep supporting. That said, I genuinely hope that they move past USPCC/Metaluxe and opt for cold foil with one of the other printers. EPCC Taiwan, Cartamundi...anyone else. A design this intricate and beautiful deserves far more precision than USPCC is capable of delivering.

Today I watch the latest video of Zach King in Youtube, where he explains and show the Behind the Scenes with David Blaine. This is the deck he is holding and spring!

Yup, confirmed of new color, and it’s red!

But my blues haven’t even arrived since July ;3; not ready for the new color

Anyone else think the Metalluxe looks pretty bad in the product photo? Looks like it used rusty plates or something...there's like no details to be made out..maybe just the glare?

I don't have any of the previous MetalLuxe Gatorbacks, but MetalLuxe never could do details well. Just look at the Silverback Gorilla deck.

Exactly the reason why I didn't get one of the Rosegold Gatorbacks despite being a sucker for Rosegold amd really liking the Gatorbacks.

The best looking Gatorbacks are the gold and silver. Bicycle Crimson Rider Back is still the sexiest metalluxe. I didn't think the Silverback Gorilla deck was that bad, it's better designed than the first version.

I was a fan initially, but am quickly losing interest in re-colors of any of the Blaine decks I don’t want or need the standard colors, I want a new deck. To me, this release is just another money grab as it involves no effort from DB or his team except to tell USPCC to reprint the Gatorbacks with red foil this time.

Me too, I am not going to be regret in the future when these decks become high price in the aftermarket.
Also... when there's blue, there's need to be red.

The longer I'm a member of the custom card community, the more I dislike re-colors. The gatorbacks design is undoubtedly beautiful, and if new print runs don't have the same registration errors as the rose gold and the silver, sure. But I find it so hard to get excited for NOCs, any of the casino decks, Monarchs, etc. and this is no different. Looks cool in red, but easy pass for me.

I bought these and I really like them. The gold deck is the only metalluxe gator deck without the backwards tuck so if the future ones are like that, hope they'll remain consistent and I'll accept them more. I feel green metalluxe is next if not the holographic ones.
