Re: Fearless: The Untouchables Playing Cards KS
This is a neat subject for a playing card deck. The execution here doesn't quite work for me (I realize, your mileage may vary), but the art of the courts doesn't match the art of the aces, the font for the indices is difficult to read at a glance / from a distance, and the style of the box and of the backs similarly don't seem to match the courts nor any of the other faces. Any one of these could be the starting point of a great deck, but all of them combined makes the deck feel random.
I hope the project creator gives these issues some thought and tries to unify the designs and improve the font choices. Tip of the ol' cap, though, for choosing an interesting theme that hasn't already been done to death.

+1 for what rouselle wrote. Exactly my thoughts when looking at what was presented.
The switch from right side run down text to bottom text on two of the aces is random as well.
The whole project looks like a group of people got individual tasks and at the end all was just thrown together instead of going through an extra phase of fine tunage to make it look like one consistent project.

I agree with you guys. I personally wish the art of the aces were that of the courts (and the aces just be "normal" ace pips) but even still it doesn't match the tuck. I would love to see this a little more succinct and I would be in.

Without seeing these guys comments first... I had exactly the same thoughts. The courts are what killled it for me.

Court cards are hideous.
