Love em, I prefer 2 way courts unless you make the 1 sided courts so good I have nothing to say against it.

Likely late to the party, but still stuck on ERAS... The court images could be from the same time era, so I think American Cultures fits the images better... But that might be to long for the title... Just my $.02

Hmm. Only 83 backers and still not at halfway funded with a reasonable $10,000 funding goal. The amount per backer is decent at a bit over $50 per backer.

This is a deck design I really like, so I am surprised there are only 83 backers. So, if you aren't backing this one and are backing other campaigns, what is holding you back here?

I'm not a big Wild West/American Civil War era guy, so it also took me a loooong time to make up my mind to back Like Lightning. However, personal preferences aside, I have a feeling that this theme has become the new over-saturated theme after skulls and Day of the Dead. Over-saturated meaning not only plenty of KS projects are doing it, but also Bicycle, CPC, and KWP have produced a bunch of similar themes in recent years. And especially when people get used to the standards that Jackson set up, not many would be accepting artwork that's lesser than his.

The playing card collecting community ain't large, ya know.

Timing for me. Too many projects came out in March April with Lotrek's Crypt and Lorenzo's Keymaster Tarot being the biggest bank buster for me.

Also with the C19 pandemic, causing a global recession and fluctuating forex, people are going to be cautious with their $. I would say that he should survey the backers about anything to change with the campaign and do a relaunch when things get better.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the art style. The design, to me, seems to fall somewhere between realism and cartoon and I guess I don't enjoy half-measures. Not knowing with which company they are going to print is a big turn-off to me too. Finally, I'm sure I like the theme that much.

I wasn’t a big fan of the original tuck box design. The new one, with foil and embossing, is one I would be proud to display in my collection.

I love the art style on the courts. Very reminiscent of Agitcom decks - which is a very good thing in my book. I’m bothered by the three decks with no differentiation outside of slight recoloring. The extra deck feels unnecessary. With “design” decks I get it - color is a big part of the story. But these are decks that tell a story, and a basic recoloring doesn’t seem to add anything to the mix other than to push me to get two decks as a completionist.

Thanks for the question. We decided to use the Cartamundi company. We have many reasons for this to produce decks with this company.

Yes, this is our first trial ridiculous attempt to show our cards to everyone. At that time, we did not take it so seriously. The design of the cards itself was terrible, the box, the shirt, and the faces of the cards were terrible. You can take a look at our first creation

Thank you Kage X!

Looks like someone was taken to school! Class is dismissed, we can all go home and leave that campaign. I already quoted but I'm doing it again. "The design of the cards itself was terrible, the box, the shirt, and the faces of the cards were terrible." They look the friggin same. (okay not all the same, face cards are and that's what makes the money here.)

If you like this, save yourself some money and go get it on Amazon. It's cheaper there and you don't have to wait until November. Nope, just a week and that's if prime is slow.
TL:DR It's completely up to you.
We can still be friends.
I actually like playing cards.

Well, I liked the one-way design, but maybe later. Let's get this version printed. I was a bit slow, but just got in to pick up an EB half-brick. Good luck!

Not sure why there is an EB 2-deck set (1 each) and an EB 6-deck set (3 each) but no EB 4-deck set (2 each). Disappointing.

Of course, soon we will make the playing cards for the Amazon.

BUT on Amazon, you will NEVER find the same cards as on the Kickstarter.

These are very different cards.

On Amazon, these will be regular cards for everyday play, with good glide and gold stamping on the tuck cases.

And on the Kickstarter, you will take for your collection unique playing cards with internal gold stamping on the tuck cases, and a gold gilding cards, plus many add-ons that go to each reward (dealer coin, luxury case, booklet), and you can take them only on the Kickstarter.

We've added some new rewards. One of which included 2x American ERAS Red Decks & 2x American ERAS Black Decks with Dealer Coin and Booklet.

As promised, we are introducing improvements to all of our decks of playing cards. Now all tuck cases will be made with gold internal printing. And the playing cards will be made with gold gilding. Red-Gold gilding will be used specifically for the Red Deck.

By the way, I wanted to tell you about the Kickstarter bug at the launch. I will tell everything according to minutes (figurative time)

5:00 - I start the project! I received a letter that the project has been successfully launched.
5:15 - My project is not visible in the search of Kickstarter
5:30 - I see that the project was funded by several backers (most likely those backers who had a direct link to the project were financed the project) but the project is still not available in the search of Kickstarter.
6:00 - the project is still not available in the search of Kickstarter. I am writing a letter to Kickstarter support (I received an answer the next day).
7:00 - 5-6 backers have been funded the project, but you cannot find the project in the search of Kickstarter.
8:00 - finally, the project available in the search of Kickstarter (in "Newest" in the first place, and in "Popular" in 8th place), it already has 7 bakers who have funded it. And from this moment good funding begins.

As a result, 3 hours after the start, the project appeared on the Kickstarter (but at the same time it was available via a direct link). It knocked our funding down a bit. Because of this bug, we lost our positions in the "popular" tab at the start and did not receive a lot of funding.

What can you say about this?

Given how much projects benefit from getting early and fast funding, I think the least they could do to make up for a bug like this is make it more visible (feature it on the front page or something similar).

Can I ask where you are getting your decks gilded?
I recall in another KS, Cartamundi (who is your printer) doesn’t do red gilding. Only gold, silver and holo.
